What's the deal with serial numbers?

Hi, just wanted to know what is the idea behind a serial number. If i haven't reserved a serial does this mean i cannot pre-order? Should i reserve a serial in the future to guarantee a pre-order?

Serial number discourage fakes and also can root out fakes when, or, if, they happen to surface?

A serial number, say #00 or #1 can increase the value of the piece because it is the first of the series.

Many people think that serial numbers are not important or are just for fans. Do not listen to those persons, for they are full of crap.

You can preorder without a serial number in mind to my knowledge

The only pre-order/reservation list for serial #'s was for Proteus. The other pre-order for GGTS was just a pre-order, you will just get
whatever the reseller sends you.

Cereals rocks man!!! great for morning noon and evening snacks. LOL ya i know serials that too rocks makes you feel special knowing you are # soso out of the many that has one of those devices that can be well considered as a the Bentley of Ecigs.

Well you can also have your serial number added to the wiki ( with your name or nickname ) for authentication if you ever decide to sell . Some people ask for this from what I understand , correct me if im wrong please . From a personal viewpoint they mean nothing else , a number is a number and it has no effect to the devices functionality (which is why you would buy it I would assume ).
