Alright guys getting back into the game.

Haven't been on here for awhile and want to know whats the cool setup nowadays.

When I was active. kayfun lites just hit the market and the brass Nemesis just came out (still have both and using it now).

I still have bunch of mechs that I plan to sell, probably not worth much anymore. But I seen a friend rock a new Joytech VV box mod that hits pretty well, so I'm thinking of one of those.

This time around NO MORE COLLECTING MODS. Just want a nice setup. I'll probably keep my provari, nemesis, and kayfuns but want to add a box mod.

Also whats the new and improve delivery systems?

There are lots of regulated boxes and tanks out there now. But I don't believe mechanicals will ever go out of style.
I'm not into what's 'hip'. But all I use are Reo squonkers and bottom feed atomizers. They've been around for several years, and I expect they'll be around for more.

But if you really want to go HIP. I guess your looking at a 200watt TC mod and some big mouth breathing atty, sio you can toss a .01 ohm coil into made of about a mile of wire, and convert a bottle of juice to Thunder clouds with every hit.

You mean like this?

24G Nichrome, 1/4" ID, 14 wraps each. It laughs at you if you try to hit it with less that 80 watts. Lol!

Actually the rx200 is kind of bulky. Any mod that will put out that kind of power but still stay sleek? I know I said I'm wanting to stay in budget, but I'm willing to go up to $200. I rather stay at $50 though

The RX200 looks big and bulky, but I've found the shape and size comfortable. Here are a few mod pics. Left to right they are Sigelei 150 (dual 18650 batts), RX200 (3 18650s), Sigelei 75 TC (single 18650), Reo Grand (single 1865), and a Nemesis (18650).

The Sigelei 150 is the old one without TC. It's the same size as the new Sig 150 TC and the 100 watt models. I think of it as 'the brick' :) but after about a year it has proven to be a really good mod. It doesn't actually max out at 150 watts, but I'm never over about 60 watts so that doesn't bother me.

The RX200 is more comfortable in my hand than the Sig 150. My glove size is men's large, but my hand will fit snug into a medium. The body seems to be die cast, so I don't know how well it would handle being dropped. It's significantly heavier than the 150 with its aluminum enclosure, but it does have the extra battery in it also. I've only had it for about a week, but it's performed great so far. Vaping at my typical 40-45 watts means I get a over a day from a battery charge. And at $40 from Vapenw it doesn't break the bank. Time will tell how dependable it is.

The only way you can get a high watt mod that's small is to use LiPo batteries, however you won't get the runtime from them that you'll get from 18650s. Unless you use a large pack and then the size goes up again.

You want to build or buy coils?

If you used a Kayfun, I assume you inhale mouth to lung. I used the provari kayfun setup as my main device for about a year.

Ever use a REO?

While not a cool new setup, it is the best I've used and have been loyal to it for the last 2 years! I am also in the unique position to have tried most every major brands new products, and have yet to find something better.

Your in for about 200 for a REO Grand.

Worth every penny. You can spend half that on other products, but no Joytech or any other inexpensive chinese device will even compare to a well built Kayfun provari combo. IMHO you will not out do your current $300 setup for 100.

Sell that provari and buy a Reo

You can get a Reo Grand clone for less than $30. Now if you want to run a 22mm atty you will need to grind down the top. But meh you have to do that with the authentic Grand anyway. An authentic REO that takes ANY BF able atty will cost you around $150.

But if you really want to go HIP. I guess your looking at a 200watt TC mod and some big mouth breathing atty, sio you can toss a .01 ohm coil into made of about a mile of wire, and convert a bottle of juice to Thunder clouds with every hit.

The hip new thing is to just go from nothing to a 200W mod, ask any newbie, thats the impression theyre getting nowadays

Just get a RX200 (some people must have that permanently in their clipboard cache around here)....i mention my TreeBox a handful of times and get trolled for over exposing the forum to it....go figure...

Used to be, to be cool, you got a tatt, now you buy a 200W vape mod (works best if you get one powered by only two batteries to get that real sense of danger and being edgy, or get an RX200 with 3 batteries and questionable wire gauges in its wiring...same thing) and blow your face off :)

Or you could get a 60-75w temp control mod and live the rest of your life at a sedate old persons wattage of 27-40w, yet as if by some weird magic, have a fully satisfying vape. I tell you these temp control mod people are using some crazy magic to get user enjoyable clouds out of just one battery at low watts. As ive said on here before, recently at our last vape meet, we had our first entrant in the cloud comp using temp control - this uncool sensible watt heathen came second...actually he technically came first as it was decided by clapping and yahooing and we punked him a bit.

Much like Patrick Bateman, i look to Huey Lewis - Its Hip To Be Square

Now if you'll excuse me, its getting draughty and i want to go and put my cardigan on....
Lol, I have a Treebox and an RX200 on the desk right now :)

Quite so, however...
In my limited experience, I have ten or so RDAs, none pricy, but from the major "cloners"... Tobeco, EHPro etc. All under $25. Each has done what it says on the tin and none have gone bad.

Then there's the handful of $6 "styled" drippers I've had. Each was bought for one purpose... to get an idea of how the particular design "philosophies" of the authentic felt. Dark Horse, Samurai, etc.
Not a one lasted through two builds before some component gave up the ghost.

They did what I bought them for and served their purpose, but I'd never rebuy any of them.

Not sure what you are even attempting to imply. Many of the RDA's I own carry those manufacturers names and Price is choice of place of purchase. Strangely enough, many Black box items actually come from the same machinery out of the same factories made by the same people.

But then, you would know better.:sneaky:

Just picked up 4 Tobeco Magma RDA's for flavor testing. These go with several I already own. $35.80 shipped/USA for the lot. :D

Oddly, not one RDA or RTA I have ever purchased has failed. Maybe ownership has its privileges after all.

This seems to be the new hip mod. There's a $200 version of it with a DNA chip in it as well if you like to fiddle with electronic gadgets.
Reuleaux RX200 by Wismec 200W $39.95

The Aromamizer and TFV4 tanks are very popular, and the Velocity is a very popular RDA (available with a bottom feeder pin for squonking). I still use my Kayfun Lites too. Those aren't going anywhere.

If you want to try squonking without having to mortgage your house, there are a couple of cheap squonkers around. Smokeless Owl, Terminator, etc. There are some inexpensive VW squonkers too.

What is this squonking nonsense...:D

I should really change the title.

For the Mod Wismec Rouleaux RX200 (3x 18650 TC Mod)
For a RTA TFV4
For a RDA Velocity or Velocity Mini both are great...

I'd recommend getting them all along with 3x LG HG2's :)

depends on if your purchasing 1 thing or a dozen and saving $80+ ;)
