My vote has to go to the VOLT (from Smokeless Image) as well. I've only had mine for a week or so, but you can see from my signature that I've tried a lot of different PV's. The VOLT is futz-free, tasty, with great vapor and battery life. The customer service is amazing as well. For a beginner, it's perfect. For me, a nearly two year veteran, it's my favorite evening vape. The thing just works - and I don't feel like having to coerce my equipment to play along in the evening.

Ego's are great and all but for a beginner kit. I would HIGHLY recommend a Volt. Decently priced, VERY simple to use, and best of all. It performs like a freaking CHAMP. You can also customize the order to everything except the LED lighting for the pcc. Anything over 50 has free shipping and the coupon code is still in effect: heatwave (23% off)

Most beginners would want something like this and also, it's a surprisingly satisfying vape.
Wish I would have known about the coupon code...just placed an order. How do you find out about the coupon codes? I also would recommend the Volt. Have tried many others, but now just use the volt.

Actually found the coupon code by checking out threads that involved the volt. Such as the reviews and but, here's a thread that will most likely have the coupon codes stated in the future:

The Kgo 1100 mAh kit is impressive at $40 at breezesmoke and $45 for the shiny version at Hoosierecigsupply. Batteries go and go and... Wow. I share my first starter kit with a noob (51Trio) then suggest a Kgo. I don't get why all these kits still have carts in them though. That's just silly IMO. Put a few cartos and juice samples in there!

Good thread. I've been stuck in a time warp on m402's for a long time mainly because I bought a bundle of them. I find them too inconsistent in draw strength (some are as well binned from the outset).

Is the volt more consistent?

One thing I do like about the m402's is the size and the fact they're automatic. Are the short and long volts comparable to the m402's and m401's in size?

How do the battery lifes compare?

Is the thread on the volt the same as the m-series (I've got m-series ce2 cartomisers so just wondering if they'll work with the volt)?

I've also heard that unlike the m-series the volts don't go off in your pocket or because of wind or sound. Is that correct?

Is there any difference between the volt and the kr808's sold by Liberty Flights?

Do smokeless image deliver to the uk?

Anyone got a working code?

The VOLT seems to be very consistent. No primer puffs needed. It draws right away with thick vapor. The threading is KR808 but the batteries don't seem to act KR8-like. I gave up on the KR808 a few years ago. Mostly because the batteries that I had (not from Liberty Flights, but from another well-known dealer) were so hit or miss. They required adjusting connectors with a paper clip, sanding, blowing. The quality of their batts has gone waaay downhill. The VOLT batts and carts just work. They aren't sound or wind activated - so you won't suddenly see them glowing out of nowhere. They have a rubberized finish which looks like it will last without chipping away. I honestly have no idea how they compare to Liberty Flights KR8's, but they claim a new, improved technology. Judging from my limited experience using them, I wouldn't doubt that at all. They sure don't act like KR8's. I have no idea whether or not they deliver to the UK. The code that I used a few days ago is: "EVAPE10" which will get you 10% off. Good Luck!

I found this heck of a deal and bought the e-power 14650 at.............Starter Kits

Free shipping, no tax, and some free juice for $45 bucks.....not bad. And it comes with two batteries. I don't think any of the other starter kits except e-power come with two batteries, but I'm not sure about that. I already own a Reos and a bunch of KR808D-1 stuff.

Thanks for the link but I'll be buying from LF UK because of price/UK based shipping/ILuvLFanyway/.. But can anyone give me a lowdown of usage/durability/likeability?

EDIT: Ps, all the starter kits I've ever bought from LF (DSE901/Riva901/Riva510/Ego510/..) have come with two batteries and usually two atties, where are you buying from?

The volt, Bloog, signature and new KR808-D's are all the same PV just different names on them. They are just the second generation auto batteries with new bottom horiz coil cartos and made by Kanger.
