I use cartotanks all the time on my MVP. Looking at the IBTanked next.

BTW - Did I see the pill container stealth tank sleeve back there?

I second this opinion... My mvp 2 is on its way. But before thst my spinner and my itaste vv v3 have been my best buds. Ive tried every clearomizer... Seriously my collection is big. And a few weeks ago tried a carto and fell in love!!! The love grew after putting the carto in a tank... Prie, fill, go! Im in simplicity heaven... I tried rebuilding coils for all my kanger stuff and found it frustrating. I keep my hubby and I vaping and all he does is say he needs a fill up and I maintain everything for both of us. He still uses protanks-but so long as I keep a few new heads around and re-wick the others with cotton he is set... Hoping to sneak a carto tank in his lunch box soon, lol... I love em. LR prepunched cartos and a couple tanks-never knew it could be so lovely :) but I know from experience, we have to go through the trial/error/learning process for ourselves before we know... I do remember reading here- it can be as simple or as complicated as we allow it to be, lol! (i chose complicated at first and am finally happy and content with simple)
    Good luck... :)
I'm one of the (apparent) minority on this forum...I have zero desire to rebuild coils, fidget or otherwise tinker with my vape. I have no desire to remove flavor wicks, add flavor wicks, boil cotton, dry burn coils...even cleaning, drying and rotating coils annoyed me. So I decided to try carto tanks. Omg...so much less hassle and so much CONSISTANT flavor. Now I vape almost hassle free...prime a carto, fill tank and go. Refills are easy with the proper refilling tool. Read Baditude's blogs for all the info. I know you can get better flavor from an RBA/RDA but if you just want to vape and go...with minimal hassle, the cartotank is a winner for me. Oh, and I also have an MVP...just charge and go, no batteries to rotate, passthru capability and the charge lasts forever. Good luck!

I'm thinking of getting the MVP v2. I want a no leak, hassle free atomiser. What are the advantages to cartotanks? I was thinking of going with XL or Mega LR smoktech catomisers (no tank) after my bad experience with my evod. Are cartotanks prone to leaking like clearomisers or are they totally different? Having that much eliquid in a non leak proof tank worries me as it's expensive and a massive hassle should it all leak out - not to mention having to buy something else to smoke with.

I went from Halo Tritons with plastic clearomizers to Vision Spinners with Kanger Mini Pro Tank II's with pyrex tanks. I recently bought an Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 from 101vape.com for $39.99 and liked it so well I bought another. I just checked and they are currently sold out at that price. Here is the ECF review that prompted me to buy it - you might like it also:

I like the MVP 2 for at home vaping but it is too large to take out and about so I can still put my Ego style batteries to good use.

Dying atomizers, cracking tanks, cleaning, charging - it's starting to add up time-wise! What are peoples' opinions on the absolute most hassle-free PV setups out there? Let's pretend money isn't an issue here for just a moment. The best.

    Hassle free PV?
    Pretend money isn't an issue?
That would have to be a cartomizer.

    maybe even a cigalike?

    Like the njoy.

Just don't forget one of these: Picture 6.jpgPicture 5.jpg

These tools will save your o-rings and allow to fill the tank all the way up.

Though, out in the field, you can fill a tank most of the way by just pulling down the carto and tilting it to the side. Kind of in the style of the clearo; avoiding the center (being the actual carto). Pour down the side.

I was going to say the same thing.

Actually, if cost is no object in a literal sense, then the most hassle-free vaping solution is hiring a vaping butler who will maintain whatever gear you like for you so all you have to do is reach over and grab a battery with an attachment already filled and ready to vape. When it doesn't do exactly what you want, you put it down and pick up another. Like the way they eat and drink on Downton Abbey.

But for more realistic versions of cost is no object, the most hassle free would have to be disposables. No charging, no attachments, no filling. Just use and toss. After that, any cigalike with prefilled cartos.

For devices you have to fill yourself, cartomizers on an eGo-type battery. Easy to fill and (IMHO) decent flavor and the batteries are pretty long lasting with a basic cartomizer. When they quit, toss them and use another one. After that probably disposable clearomizers, which may actually be simpler than cartomizers.

None of this implies anything to do with quality, if that matters than a carto tank is probably the best compromise between quality and low maintenance.

Question: sym tool looks different than the smoktech one-is sym better or is this another personal preference things? I just tilt my carto and no worries so far but when I have the urge to buy, im sure one of these will end up in my gear box...

    Somewhere out there
I think the itaste MVP and VV version 3 are the most hassle free batteries. It's a trade off between form factor and battery life between the two. Just plug in a micro USB charger. Unlike egos, you don't even have to remove the topper to charge. No fussing with separate chargers or swapping batteries.

    I don't think there's a perfect topper yet.
Cartomizers are simple and leakproof. They are easy to refill, but require frequent re-filling unless you're willing to use once and toss. No worries about breakage. Not the best flavor or performance, but just about the only thing I trust enough to carry in my jeans pocket.

Cartomizer tanks are pretty good. I find them a bit of a hassle to refill. I also don't trust the tank not to slip and dump liquid all over. I've heard there are types that lock the carto in place though.

iClear 16 clearos. I love 'em. just unscrew the top and add liquid. Great flavor and vapor. Easy Peasy. I dry burn to extend the life of the atomizer, but you can also toss and replace if you want. Plastic, so there are concerns about cracking.

Protank bottom coil types. Can be fussy to get them to stop leaking and gurgling, but a pleasure to use when they're working right. Glass tanks, so no worries about cracking from certain flavorings.

I use and enjoy all 4 of the above and choose based on circumstances. If someone asked me to choose one ideal setup, I'd pick the iclear16 on a itaste VV 3.0 for low hassle and great performance.

OTH, I'm trying to get an older lady started. For her, even charging and refilling seem to be too big of a hurdle, so I got her some disposables to try out.

I second the Reo Mini or Reo Grand. I use the Reomizer on mine. It puts out more clouds and better flavor than any other setup I use. About once a week, I rinse mine out with water. I rebuild the coils around the same time. The performance is so good that I would use it, but the lack of hassle is an added bonus.

If you are not super keen on RBAs, you can also use dripping atomizers or cartomizers with the Reo too. It still will give any other device a run for its money. Anyone will tell you that dripping is the best vape, so why not use a device that makes it so you are dripping all the time?

Is there a video on how to use these? I have one coming with my order from IBTanked, but I have no idea how to use it.
