Mvp2 with evod tanks, I rinse them out once a week and go on, very low maintenance

This seems to be one of the constant and invaluable "hassle free PV setup" strategies: keep alternates/backups ready to go; as soon as something starts giving trouble, put it aside for cleaning later, and just switch to alternate/backup.

I used a Silver Bullet (kicked) with a carto tank for a year with very little hassle.... very simple. I did move to rebuildables after that but the Silver Bullet is a rock solid mod and very hassle free.

That's a head-scratcher.
Gives the impression that you stopped using the silver bullet when you switched to the rebuildable, but I'm guessing you continued to use the silver bullet.

The hassle is really on the tank side of things, not the power.

Will, this is slightly off topic, but may help the OP in the long run: how do you get your carto tanks to work on the MVP? I think my 510 connection is a tad too deep, because none work on mine without an adapter.

I use a steak knife and ever so slightly pry up the center pin, just a tad. I hear a lot of people are using an adapter.

I'm going to revise my earlier statement. Another very low-maintenance vape is to use the Smoktech eGo dual coil Mega cartomizers.

These are the eGo-threaded ones. They advertise them as holding 5 ml of liquid; I can't usually get more than 3.5-4 ml into them but they produce a lot of vapor and a lot of flavor, very close to a cartotank without any of the spillage risk or mess. With that much juice they last a decent time before needing to be topped off and can be topped off more than a regular cartomizer.

Have my MVP coming in on 2 day shipping, so will probably get it the day after new years. Can't wait for it!

My current setup if I am on the go and need something real easy that I don't have to worry to much about is

    -ego 1k MAH
-Smoktech Vivi nova 2.5ml (I fixed the leaking)
    -General drip tip
Ego lanyard as well if I am going to be walking a lot.

Very easy and simple setup, if it gets broken it isn't a huge loss. That's my whole thing in public, is that it will get broken and I will be out over 100 bucks for a setup. Which would make me a very sad panda :(

Where are you finding ego threaded cartos?

For a hassle-free vape, I truly would not recommend tank systems - at the worst, I've had many heads on tank systems taste burnt and acidic right off the bat, with 0mg juices and juices that are proven to wick well, and at the best, with extreme manipulating and taking risks and chances, I've gotten a vapor that is tolerable but always has an undertone of a wicky taste. CE5's, Kanger, Smoktech, Aspire, Innokin, I've had nothing but bad experiences from these tanks, and I don't believe there's anything "simple" about them.

I've literally found that there are some rare, off-brand cig-alike kits that have more consistent flavor, and to me, that's really important over anything else. I can have a ton of vapor, but if something tastes unhealthy about the vape, I simply won't vape it. I've also gotten a very good flavor experience out of the Cisco 3.5 atomizer (the cheapest version - $8.99), and while it was working, it was honestly one of the simplest devices I used - all you do is take off the drip tip and drip a few drops in, the flavors don't even bleed when switching. Problem is, it gunked up in 30 minutes, and was impossible to clean.

I've decided that my next attempt will be building microcoils that allow me to fire the coils before sliding a wick in (to allow for oxidation, or whatever), that allow me to exchange a wick in the blink of an eye if the wick happens to get burns, that allows me to not spend $3-5 on each broken head I buy, and so that I can monitor the state of my coils. The heads that I buy, they always come in either cross-wrapped, or heating-guard will be caught all in them, or they'll be touching metal, or they'll be wrapped way too tight. It seems like no pre-made head has a quality standard that I can agree with - and the rare times they look perfect, something will still taste very odd about them.

If I end up getting a great taste from my own coil, I may eventually try for cartotanks, but from what I've read around the forums, it seems that cartotanks can be really, really tricky to get to work, and that all brands suffer from some make problems just like anything else. I never thought that I'd be the guy to get into building, but I gotta say, the performance of all the heads and coils I've tried is just... anywhere from horrific to very low standard. At best, at absolute best, the coils perform in a way where I can't taste much in terms of nasty tastes, but that I can't taste any good ones either. That's the best it's gotten.

So right now, I know it sounds like an impossible task, but if ya'll are anywhere near as focused as I am on ensuring that your vapor tastes nice and clean, and really gives you a standard flavor with your vapor (for example, blueberries tasting like blueberries, and not sweaty socks), I haven't found one product that even begins to have a quality standard to match a vaping lifestyle, at all. It's bad enough that before anyone buys I tank, purchase three different packs of heads from three different vendors because at least two packs will be bad. That's been my literal experience.

Other than that, the only things I can say is to try what I haven't, carto-tanks, or try what I'm fixing to, rebuilding. If you absolutely do not want to consider those two things, you really can easily test out your preference by buying some CE5's. They seem to have just as solid performance as anything else, and if you can't get them to taste right by following the instructions, then chances are, no tank will work for you, because they're all essentially the exact same coil and device. They're great, easy ways to test and see if you mesh well with the standard and tastes of these vapes.

For taste, and little to no hassle once it's filled, go with a carto tank. If you want to stick with clearos, bottom coils are easiest to maintain. You can switch a coil out and still save the juice you've got in it. For better taste, you can get a double bottom coil, like the iClear 30b and 16b, or the Protank 3. I haven't used the protank 3, but I do enjoy my 16b and 30 b

I have found the vape on a Kanger product to be consistent, but taste is very muted...especially in the Mini ProTank 2. I like the EVOD more but they are prone to cracking.

Rebuildables are going to give the best endurance and flavor.

The iClear 30 produces good vapor/flavor in the beginning, but those 16 wicks get gunked up quick. The draw on the iClear is tight also.

As far as flavor and vapor production from clearomizers, here's my favorites that I am using on a regular basis.
AnyVape Davide BDC with an Aspire head > Aspire ET-S > iClear 30b > Mini Protank 2
I also think a good carto with a locking pyrex tank that has a fill hole is a nice, hassle free, consistent vape. Such as a boge lr with an agr+ tank.

Ohhh. I hate the mini protank. Muted flavor and pos as well. Mine gave a really disappointing vape ...for about a week and then the glass came unglued from the base. Mine was a mini protank 1, v2 might be better but I'm not gonna buy one.

You are going to fall in love with building your own, I'd lay money on it. Good luck and enjoy. Seriously. You are gonna love it.
