Whats the verdict on Halo?

Ive read so many glorious reviews of Halos stuff but then I read people saying it has very subtle flavors. I like rich bold flavors so I've been a little hesitant to buy from them so far.
I'm just wondering how many people think their flavors are on the mild side because then it might not be for me.

I dont find the flavors subtle at all. To me they have a central bold flavor with subtle undertones of something else. I love the Bella Vanilla and the Freedom both. To me they both have great flavors and I never get tired of them.

To me, there was nothing subtle about the Halo flavors, they just weren't for me.

There is no final "verdict" on any e-liquid. The most you will find is a consensus (which doesn't happen that often).

And even with a consensus, there are exceptions. For example, the consensus on DeKang e-liquid is that it is inferior to US-made. And yet my favorites are DeKang Marlboro and TAB (Turkish American Blend).

Unlike PV hardware, there is very little to objectively evaluate about e-liquid. Everyone's taste buds and subjective experience are different.

I found that all their non-methol tobacco flavors taste like ginger to some degree.
And I don't really hate that, but only use them now and then.

Halo Torque - a small touch of ginger
Halo Freedom - a splash of ginger
Halo Smooth 8 - ginger in your face

To my taste buds, the Torque and Freedom taste exactly the same but just with different amounts of ginger. Nobody agrees with me so far, but I personally have no doubt that is what I'm tasting.

When I am going out for a few ginger ales… I am from Detroit and that is what Mickey Redmond (the redwings announcer) calls it. In my case it is ginger ale and vodka…must be a Detroit thing...lol.

Anyway… My go to is Halo Torque 51. I can not use this around my wife because it has a VERY strong smell, but along with the smell it has a “hit” that goes great with what ever your favorite ale is.

It you “need” at hit when you are out at the watering hole….51 will work.

I've been wanting to try Halo out...maybe i'll pick up a 5ML if they sell it...

I actually prefer DEKANG the best...but I guess i'm in the minority...

I have no idea why Halo still doesn't have small sampler bottles. 30ml bottles is kinda big for an only option.
