Hi and welcome to ECF! Those hammers are notorious for issues with their switch. Hot buttons are never good and *usually* indicate that some sort of short is occurring somewhere. Check your battery for unusual marks (arcing), and check your build for loose contacts and any point that coils may be making contact, as well as your battery for any tears in the heat wrap. If not, it's likely the terrible spring. Fatdaddyvapes has a magnet upgrade:

SHOP - FatDaddyVapes.com - Home of the best vape tweaks and replacement hardware.

Just scroll down a ways until you see magnet and contact upgrades, the Hammer is there.

As for the battery rattle, if the battery rattle adjustments are maxed, I would get some button top batteries. Preferably Xtar, they are VTC4 cells and have a 30A continuos discharge. I hope you are well versed in ohms law and battery safety (probably should have started with that). The Xtar button tops are much longer than your average 18650, they should help the rattle quite a bit.

ETA: Does yours already have the magnetic switch?

update so i looked at the silver battery tray and the white delrin insulator is what i think was too big so i took some sand paper and slowly little by little sanded it down and now there is absolutely no battery rattle and i made sure not to sand it too much i maybe took half a mm to a full mm off of it and as far as i can tell on it there isnt an adjustment for the battery rattle

yea i had found the magnets on fat daddy and they are ordered and i have fixed the 510 connector

and yes i am versed in ohms law

thank you by the way cullin
