Whats up with SE?

Ok I have now had two of my major wholesale reps tell me that Smoking Everywhere's office was closed friday and that they are not answering their phones. Both gave me different stories as to why. (neither of which I am going to detail as they are unsubstantiated rumors.) Does anyone know what's really going on?

I thought you had a thread about this not long ago, but when I went back to check and read the follow up on it I couldn't find it.......

I would think that as a retailer you would have been given the inside information (since it affects your ability to continue doing business).

How unfortunate for you to be left in the dark in your position !!

On the FDA SE thread I asked if it might have something to do with the court case. Sun said he didn't think so. Perhaps that is what you are talking about?

It doesn't effect me at all. I don't carry SE products. Even when people trade them in We just chuck em. It isn't critical that I know I am just curious. I have heard some pretty wild rumors and was just wondering if there was any truth to them.

I do remember this time last year, NJOY did the exact same thing over the China New Year Holiday. NJOY closed its offices and did not answer it's phones. Wheather it is related or not, I do not know.

I believe your right and thats where I saw it Mac (guess I should have just done a post search under your userID).

Oh, I thought you were carrying multiple manufacturer/distributor items, and just assumed this was one of them as well.

That could be it Sun (it would make more sense than taking orders that can't be filled).

But, if it was, you'd think a business courtesy as simple as a site and/or phone notification would better suit the clientèle following.

Then again, unless its a marketing ploy to create panic buying once people discover the site becomes active again all of a sudden.

Who knows, I guess time will tell !!
