What's up with the wick height difference on 901 attomizers?...

I did a search for this info and couldn't find it.. I originally bought a DSE901 from totally wicket..I bought some new DSE901 atomizers from another supplier... And the wick on the totally wicked atty is recessed a lot deeper in the barrel then the new attys ( is that the only attys that have that design?)... So with the new ones, the wick almost (or does) sit right up against the cart filler ( tried a few different types of carts with it as well) I'm having to cut the filling back to keep from melting it....
I wanted to buy some attys in bulk possibly from ruyan but I can't tell from the pic if the wick is the higher sitting one or the more recessed kind.. I'd just buy more TW attys...But when buying in bulk I'd rather not spend that much per atty..
Any suggestions, advice would really be appreciated..

The attys with the wick close to the cart are the regular 901's. The other ones are the RN4072's. They both work. Some like one over the other.

they may also be 4075"s I have found that out thru Heavens Gift
he carries the 901 4072 and 4075??? I am not sure why or what makes them different

hmmm now im really confused lol... I looked up the RN4072's and most the posts about them seem to point to them being used with the 801....Does anyone know out of the 901- 4072 or the 901- 4075, which atty sits up high and which one receeds lower?

the original 901 sits up higher, the 4075's are lower.

I have a 4075 for a spare and it's useless with 901 carts, element is too far from the stuffing to wick up any juice after a few puffs.

debating on cutting the end of the atomizer barrel a hair to move the cart closer.

TW sell the RN4075 type atomiser it is clocked to run 15% hotter thus giving more vapour and throat hit.

The original DSE 901 has a fatter higher bridge and is from a different factory .
