Hi everypony! I'm a transgender pony freak living with my boyfriend here in Texas and while I'm not exactly new to vaping, I recently got this Eleaf iStick 100W mod and Horizontech Arctic Turbo tank and I got plans to buy all sorts of hi-tech gear to go with it. Anyway, I'm a firm believer in knowing what you're doing and so I joined this forum in case I have any questions.

I intend to get a Joyetech Delta II tank since the coils my lover needs for his AIO unit apparently comes with an RBA mod kit for that tank and I'm leaning towards pre-built coils for right now as they aren't terribly expensive. I'm also intending to get a Kangertech Protank 4 Evolve system with an RBA mod. (Thinking I might need tweezers and/or wire cutters here, but I'm not absolutely sure?)

Hi and welcome! Lots of good info around here to help you out, especially if you're going to start building coils. It doesn't require very much id you want to keep your coils simple, just a drill bit the right size to wrap and some nail clippers to cut the wire. Tweezers do come in handy. You can also buy yourself an inexpensive coil jig, some needle pointed bent tweezers, ceramic tweezers for shaping the coil while burning, all for a reasonable price. Just be sure you have a mod that will let you check the resistance and provide some power to help burn it in. Good luck!

Welcome @Betty84

A few tools are going to be essential. I guess you can pick up what you need as you go along. Having seen vaping tool kits for crazy money, I'm not sure I can recommend kits.
Off the top of my head I use;
Kuro coiler (clones) or the correct sized screwdriver/drill bit. I tried a few coil jigs but they weren't for me.
Scissors (large + small), wire cutters (clippers) and two pairs of ceramic tweezers.

Interesting your are looking at the Delta atomizer. In the UK, tanks over 2ml will be banned in two months. I am only keeping my Joyetech atomizers for emergency and I can't honestly say I think any of them are any good. People use the 'CLR' heads but there are literally thousands of negative posts on the internet about these. I can only presume that people who know what they are doing work them out eventually and the newbies and less-experienced just have epic fails.
There must be an easier and more reliable place to start.
If you decide to just use factory coils for now, I also think Joyetech are bottom of the barrel actually. They have made some shocking atomizers. I actually don't know any 'factory coil' vapers that use them.
So, as you can tell, I recommend you to be careful what you invest in.

I feel; If you are going to 'build', then build on a rebuildable. (Kayfun, Taifun, Squape, Wotofo, Kanger, Steamcrave, whatever.... Bellus, Lemo, Griffin.... zzz)
If you are going to use factory coils buy something truly reliable not something the 'mighty' Joyetech think is a good product. I.D.K. Maybe the Tron is good? Maybe the Delta wasn't a leaky monster that nobody liked for more than 72 hours? :eek: Perhaps Joyetech didn't actually still sell outdated 2011 atomizers to their customers in 2014. Maybe it was all a bad dream. :D

Hi and welcome! I hope you have an excellent time here, and meet many who share your interests. I am a pony freak too. I like to ride em. HARD. But that is prolly TMI for this forum...
In that case a Tube Mod such as a Provari should make for more comfortable rides..

Oh, Welcome to ECF!!

No, no, no, you have to use a Reo or Reo clone to enjoy the rides. You know the squonking puts it all in perspective.

Welcome to ECF.
