It all started so innocent for me,,, my cousin is a Delta faucet rep, and he had given me a new valve to replace an old one that had a teeny tiny leak from the shower head in my tub. That one was made by Gerber (who knew they made faucets, huh??), and I couldn't get parts for it. Well, I had to open the wall to replace the valve, which revealed a bunch of mold behind the old surround, so I thought, as long as I'm doing it, a new surround wouldn't be that bad, until I realized that there was plywood behind the old drywall, and in order to put the waterboard drywall in, I had to take that plywood off, and wouldn't you know it,, it was glued to the studs,,, so,,, it took me two days to get that off and prepped for the new drywall,,, lol. Of course the seam ended up being behind the toilet, so I ended up popping that off, and of course figured I might as well put in a new valve, and new valves in the
tank. Then I decided a heater would be nice, but of course I had to put that on it's own circuit, which meant an expansion of the electric service,,, la la la.... I'm still not done with it, but there were other distractions,,, lol.
Then while trying to hunt down all my tools, I realized how badly organized they were, so that turned into some work organizing tools. (I inherited all my Dad's tools, so I am trying to absorb those, too.) I'd rather have Dad, but it's nice that my sister wasn't interested in them.
I also hadn't had much chance to do things like trim the shrubs, etc, and there was a tree in the front yard that died,,, and I had to cut that down,,, and I'm looking at another rental house, so I've doing the leg work on that. (I think I'm kind of nuts, because taking care of
three places is challenge enough,,, )
At any rate,,, that's what's been keeping me busy.
