What's wrong? Leaky Atomizer?

So I've never ran into this problem before and it sucks because I had JUST broken in this atomizer. But for some reason everytime I drip on it now it leaks all over the place.

After I clean up all the leakage, I can take maybe 2 - 3 puffs before it starts tasting burnt again.. so I add more.. and more leaking! I've set the atomizer aside but I really hope I can revive it because I was stupid and I think I totally messed up one, and now this one is acting all funny.. that leaves me with two.

Any suggestions?

My fellow veteran, Hellen A. Handbasket, spotted a post, in which you said that you had removed the bridge from your atomizer.

We believe that is the reason your atomizer doesn't work any more. Give it a proper burial.
