Funny, i was just looking around for a thread of this type last night.
Its hard to pick a favorite but i have listened to: "Alkaline Trio - my shame is true & Broken wing" , "Minus The Bear - Omni" and "Twenty One Pilots - Vessel" alot in the past week.

Current favorite? I listen to a LOT of music. In another time I'd probably be striving to be a producer or even a radio DJ. Current top three favorite bands *today* are "Raptimus Prime", from Sweden, "Calexico" from the USA, and "Shpongle" from the UK.

There's waay to many to even begin naming bands. . . So I'll start with here. . .and it varies from heavy to poppy. . .BIG TIME.

Black Sabbath, Metallica, Green Day, MxPx, Godsmack, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Rage Against The Machine / Audioslave, New Found Glory, Silverchair, Pink Floyd, Portishead (genius use of sampling!), The Beatles, Oasis, Superdrag, Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Tribal Theory, Common Kings, Dirty Heads, The Green, Iration, Early November, Senses Fail, Finch (RIP), Fitz & The Tantrums, The Roots, Me First & The Gimme Gimmes (THE greatest punk rock cover band. . . .EVER!), Papa Roach, All American Rejects, Unwritten Law, Smashing Pumpkins, Linkin Park, The Cure, Aquabats, No Doubt, Taking Back Sunday, Guns N Roses (Say what you will bout him. . .I think Axel is a musical genius. . .if he wasn't such a douche and crazy!)

I'd have to go through my ipod. . . .and about 15G of harddrive at home. . . .but that's just some of my music. . . .And I'm a frigging hip-hop DJ. . . .

Rush - Moving Pictures, pretty much my all time favorite release, beginning to end, I love it. Currently, I liked some Avenged Sevenfold when Rev was drumming for them (RIP), after that, it's still pretty good. I'm 48 with twin 13 year olds, my kids friends can't believe I listen to A7X, still a hard rocker after all these years.
