You are stranded on a desert island. Sand and sea surround you, with no life in sight. Luckily, however, as your ship went down, you managed to salvage a solar powered boombox and a mixtape with *20 of your all-time favorite tunes by internationally known artists.*

(You know, the kind that always cause you to immediately scream out in public "I LOVE THIS SONG!" and then treat the crowd with an impromptu lip-synching, bee-bopping, and/or air guitar performance that is off the hook? :headbang:...No? Come on, I can't be the only silent rock star on the planet.:glare:)

The tape will be your only companion for the next TEN YEARS. So, what's on it? Enquiring minds want to know. Please list song and artist.

(btw, i'm feverishly going through my 4,000+ collection of "faves" LOL -- yeah, i guess one could say i got just a "bit" carried away when labelling them...i think i'm gonna be a while. oh, and please take your time as well...for purely selfish reasons -- as i may want to swap out a few from my pile for some super gems in your pile that i forgot about. i mean, heck, ten years is a dang long time, dude. :2cool: )

They have to be by "internationally known" artists, huh? Not sure I could come up with 20 given that constraint. :(

Out of the millions of songs out there, and hundreds or thousands that you probably have in your collection, there aren't 20 internationally known songs you could put down?

We all have Indy bands that we love, but is your musical taste so limited?

Didn't think there was anything warm there that needed to be chilled.

Just wondering why you poked your head onto a thread, with no intention of abiding by the OP's question.

Was it to show that all internationally available music is below your standards?

Between you and E, it appears that "snarky" is the word du jour. Take a hike.
