I managed to get a twisted 28 kanthal in there without much problem and I'm enjoying it.

I tried a nickel build in there, but it got really hot and I had some dry hits (which isn't supposed to happen with tc!?), but maybe my wicking wasn't set up well.

Roxy--do you notice a difference in taste between kanthal and titanium?

Not really, but I do notice a difference using the larger airflow positive pole holder. I like the larger airflow, but flavor isn't as good as it was with the tighter draw. So I'm debating things there. Lately I've been wanting more airflow and had even started choking while vaping my Erlk after getting used to other tanks. But, I'm not happy about getting less flavor.

So I'm going to continue for now with the larger airflow and see if I get accustomed to it. If I don't, I'll be going back to the tighter airflow.

I can't use nickel due to an allergy. My ti build is 28g, 6 wraps on 2.5mm for 0.42 ohm. I'm vaping at 440°F using the ti mode on the sx mini m class at 28.5J. Trying the ni mode with ti I just couldn't dial it in to my liking. Even 300° in ni200 mode was very hot, and the flavor was bad. However I seem to be in the minority on liking the ti mode on the sx mini. I love it though and will only buy mods that have a Yihi chip with ti mapping from now on.
