As a dedicated dripper, I kept hearing that taking the bridge out of an atty can make a big difference. Well, I finally got up the courage to tear the guts out of a couple tonight that had developed that lingering bad taste... and am loving it! Better flavor, clean flavor (again), warmer vaper and more of it IMHO. Don't know if I'll modify all my attys, but sure glad I tried it! If you're an exclusive dripper and can afford to potentially loose an atty in the process, there's very detailed video that shows the technique.

So inquiring minds want to know...
What mods have you tried with your equipment?
How'd it work out for you?
Would you advise it to someone else?

The only problem I have with taking out the bridge is that thinner liquids tend to leak out the bottom, either have to cut the liquid with some VG, or use vg liquids.

This is my own experience though, I gut all my atomizers, and they're all LR from altsmoke, they have great atomizers, great mods, but their liquid is thin and harsh. :2c:

I checked out the video and the exposed atomizer looks exactly like the atomizer in the E2 cartomizer. I got tired of refilling the E2s (you need a needle and syringe) and just started dripping directly onto the already exposed atomizer. I haven't really noticed much in the way of leakage because any overdrip just seeps into the wicks. You might give that a try before tearing into an atomizer.
