I personally love darkside chronicles for the wii. I realize the engine is drastically different for the franchise but man it's an awesome game. Resident evil 4 was my fave before that came out. How about you guys?

I get told that I am evil fairly frequently but that probably doesn't count (that reminds me...gotta go click that link for forgiveness)
First one is my favorite. After that you kind of knew what to expect. After hundreds of horror movies, that first game made me jump and scream "WTF!?!?!" more than a couple times! I only played the second and third ones after that and was so disappointed I didn't want to play any of the rest.
Checkout 4. They totally revamped the engine and you have way more control over where you run duck shoot dodge etc. It''s a whole other level of control. And if you don't mind the house of the dead style engine (where you only control the shooting not the moving around) darkside chronicles is truly awesome!
Nah... Part of the tension was slowly creeping towards that zombie you put a couple slugs in, waiting for him to get up. Then when he doesn't get up and you walk across his 're-corpse', he starts gnawing on your ankle "Uuuuuunnnnggghh!!!!". I literally jumped out of my recliner one time when that happened. I was POSITIVE that he was dead for good, had a good laugh afterward but I don't think any game will ever bring back that same feeling again.
