I have spent quite a bundle to get my gear and coil/liquid/wire/cotton stock up to scratch....now I have quite some stock (enough for about 2 years) and some very nice gear...so theoretically I should be fine for a while....
But I allow myself to put $10 each week in my vape budget...so when I fancy something I can get it...which probably won't be very soon...just got myself 3 high end mods and tanks so I'm all set.

1 liter of 100mg nic that should last me close to 2 years - $40
1 liter of VG every 2 months - $18
250 ml PG every 2 months - $6
$20 for flavors every 2 or 3 weeks (I'm still experimenting and trying new things. If I just stuck to my 3 constant flavors it would be about $20 every 3 months.)
So...
About $57/ month figuring on the high side. That's about 76% of what I used to spend on analogs in a WEEK! I'm looking for a new low powered VW mod and some more batteries, so I'll blow another $50 there in the next month or 2 (and call it my Christmas present to myself ). Maybe a tank to go with it $25? Maybe? Some more wire if I need a different gauge for the new tank, and some cotton, but that's $5 for a year's worth of both.

With the exception of one time purchases such as mods or tanks; I spend about $30 on diy supplies (Nic, Flavors, PG, etc) each month. Every 2 or 3 months I spend about $20 on cotton and wires.

I tend to stick with a tank and mod combo for about a year. At which point I start looking at what's new out there. I usually pick up a batch of new 18650 batts as well. So I'll drop about $150-$200 each year on equipment.

I don't have a hard budget. As long as I'm not spending $6000/year on analog cigarettes I'm happy. :)

As long as I keep under what I spent on cigs (about $150 every two weeks), I'm not complaining. And neither is the wife. I had shinyitis the first 6 months or so and my budget was right at the top as I kept upgrading. Since it leveled off, I'm way ahead of the ticker below. Now I only purchase something if I need it or find a really good deal on it.

First starting off i was reckless with my purchases. I fell in love with whole aspect of vaping and always had the newest shiny mech mod that comes out or what battery would be the most effective. Now that i have all the toys that i need. (not all the ones i want :() I spend about $40 a month total much cheaper then what i was spending when i was smoking and dipping. If I happen to come across a good deal i tend to go ahead and splurge. I tend to keep my purchases under $100. There are sometimes i make silly purchases but i never regret any of them!

When I got my taxes earlier this year, I spent more than im proud of, and really dont have THAT much to show for it! lol :) It was fun though!
That makes 2 of us haha.I went hog wild stupid buying a bunch of stuff i had been wanting for a while, but when it all came in,and i looked at the small pile of stuff compared to the pretty large invoice, reality set in haha.I can't complain too much though,i have enough diy supplies and gear to get me through at least 10 years,so technically,i don't have to spend anything for a long while, but i still spend between $10-$25 a week, just because i would have spent it anyway if i was still smoking, besides,if i don't spend a little,my wife will spend it all haha.

Do you guys have other hobbies you have to sit down and split the budget up with? I saw watches and pens earlier (I need some pointers on what to look for in a decent vintage watch for a couple hundred bones or so, btw.... hint hint.... pm box is open). My other main hobby is rock crawling and my jeep which makes vaping look ridiculously cheap even when I overspend.

For instance, right now I've got a couple of generic Hammond builds I'm going to knock out tomorrow but I'd like to build an sx350 sqonker because 1: I've never built a squonker and 2: I've never built something regulated so why not build a regulated sqonker? Ha

However, I've got twisted splines on my front chromos and would like to upgrade to some RCVs and I just got done rebuilding the Detroit in my rear end. I also need new exhaust because I crushed it and my radiator is cracked. I've gotta do all that before my club's next run in early December so vaping will have to take a back seat for a couple of months.

Is that how you guys do it?

I spent $1,000 the first year. If I don't do any hoarding all I'll spend is a couple hundred dollars for year two. I started DIY recently, $50 a YEAR. (DIY is so cheap it's free.) If I get concerned about government interference I'll triple my nic supply, get a couple handfuls of rda's off fasttech and some mods

Every vaper should have a liter of nic in the freezer, even if you don't mix.

Oh hell yes! It's called grandkids! :-x

And they always have the audacity to want/need/want something the very moment I'm about to go spend happy! :grr:

For a while this year though I wasn't able to buy anything new--family....life....responsibilities I didn't ask for I was now solely responsible for.
I just bought my g*d an iPhone (welcome home/birthday present)............I DARE HER TO ASK ME FOR SOMETHING ELSE WITHIN THE NEXT 5 YEARS!

My hobbies are pricey.....cell phones & smartwatches.

Haven't thought of that. Had a coworker help out with my vape budget and now I am set for approximately 3 and a half years. Only needing to buy cotton and a couple coils for Emow tank which is about $3 per month. Gotta love unflavored and coil combination. They last just over a month. Cotton, going on 1 year for $2. I used to spend $60 a month on cigars so when and if I need something, I would buy it then but have all I need for now. 2- low powered MVP, XPro m80, 2-Mech mods, 100 Sig and 150 Sig TC, 6 sets of 18650's, charger, wire for years for my rebuildables, enough flavoring and Nic for about 3 1/2 yrs.
