As a low watt tootler, there are lots of options for mods, and the Provari is a nice choice (if only there were lots of tanks for us tootlers, almost everything is geared for the sbuohm high watt folks).

As for falling behind, I'm only at this for less than a year, and it still feels like more is coming out than I can keep up with.

For tanks I bought quite a few Kayfun's, lites and 2 mini's plus I have a couple Corolla's coming. I wanted quite a few as backups :) I also am a tootle puffer, broke in on vaping in 2009 so am pretty old school :) LOL
I bought the nectar clones, they are like the corollas FT has them.

May I ask where you ordered the Corolla from? Too few mtl RBAs to choose from these days!

The 2.5s? or their whole line

Things could play out any number of ways of coarse but as they stand ATM Provape is basicly gonna be dead in many states. Here in NY for sure.

Provape is basic innerweb sale only. I only know of one store that sold them and I don't think they do anymore.

If they are to be considered a tobacco product, which I think they are, online sales are banned here and in many places.

So the Summer is a de facto ban on Provape products. Chinawith sneak in a mod or two moving forward but the chances of a US company using the mail system to break a state law are about zero.

That depends upon what battery you want to use in it.

By default, a standard 2.5 Provari uses an 18490 battery. If you want to use an 18650, you'll need the extension.

By default, a mini 2.5 uses an 18350 battery. If you want to use an 18490, you'll need the extension.

How's the battery life with a 18490? I vape around 13 with a 1.3 coil.

The nectar is what roxydoodle recommend to me they are the same as corolla
Been looking at Nectar, Marquis, and Stumpy (clones), after so much research my mind is swimming. I have already purchased some Origen v2s. It's been difficult finding a source for the Stumpy, though I think I found one. No clue who the manufacturer is though, and that bothers me bit.

Just get what you feel comfortable, you'll do fine!:)

By "13" I'm assuming you mean 13 watts. The Provari doesn't do watts, only volts, so I'm not sure what 13 watts works out to in voltage.

I would get about 10 - 12 hours with an 18490 AW IMR 1200mAh 18A battery, using a 1.5 ohm single coil in a Kayfun Lite + RTA, @ 3.5 volts. Your mileage may vary.

Just read a snippet in a different thread that would lead me to believe Provape is in fact dead in the water on 8/8 regardless of other states laws cause it looks like it will be a crime for them to ship out of there own state.

There is a loophole in the law about shipping to dealers but I'm not sure they can set up a meaningful dealer network in a couple months.

Watts is what I meant. I know it's variable voltage, I'm just trying to get an idea of what I'll have to build in my subtank RBA. I'm thinking 1.2 ohms at 4 volts should work. From what I've read the 2.5 has a 3.5 amp limit. I'm also tempted to buy a couple 18650s and use my trustworthy mech mod.

I was using a 1.2 ohm single coil in my Kayfun, but I couldn't much adjust the voltage at that resistance. Building a 1.5 ohm single coil allowed me to push a little more voltage to the coil.

In reality, Provape designed the Provari 2.5 to perform best with resistances between 2.0 and 3.0 ohms. That was the norm when the processor was designed/upgraded in 2012.
