You should not taste any burnt cotton. If you do, you have burnt the cotton and it should be changed. When I first started dripping I looked in my rda every 3 or so hits to see how it was holding up. I find that I can take around 8 hauls before I need to redrip but that can vary between different RDAs, wicking materials and coil builds.

you should be able to feel/taste/sense a less dense vape when your wicks are starting to dry. It is kinda like when your batteries are getting low and the production starts to drop off, kinda, but different.

The more you do it, the better you will get at knowing when its time to drip. If you think it is starting to taste less dense, pop the top cap off and have a look! If you do that and the wicks look saturated still, but you get a dry/burnt hit anyways, you dont have enough or have too much wick in there!

Keep on Vaping!!
