I use a vision V2 clearo on my twist. The atomizers do seem to last a while, I clean and dry burn them every 3-4 refills. Do people just use them until they burn out and don't work or swap for new ones after a while because of, low vapor production. I just don't know if there's any adverse health reactions from an old atomizer. I've got a sinus cold now and don't know if the older atomizers can be irritant. Just neurosis i guess.

Many just get tired of cheap plastic clearo's and progress to a changeable atomizer like a Aspire BDC or Protank 3 BCC. Where you can change the coil head and basically have a new atomizer. Once vapor production and taste becomes unacceptable, most clearos must be replaced. Also cartomizers are a valid option. I've gone to re-buildable atomizers, rba's. Where I can re-wick when needed, dry burn the coil, and then rebuild the coil after it is no longer working to my satisfaction.

Yes, just keep up the cleaning you're doing until it no longer gives you a good vape. Sometimes a wick will fall apart, sometimes other things will go wrong that render it useless. But as long as it vapes well for you, keep using it.

But do have spares! There's usually no advance notice of an impending failure :)

I agree.... I keep soaking and dry burning about 20 different pt2 coils.... But I do have about 5 fresh 5 packs sitting at the ready to be called into duty.
