With my mini Nova's, I usually do it every 3 refills or so (depending on the juice). I take them apart, rinse the coils/wicks and then dry burn them. Then, I take the coil/wick assembly and drop it in a container with hot water and denture cleaner overnight, reassemble everything with a new wick/coil and vape!

My Kangers I clean this way every other tank or so. The stardusts I usually do every 2 tanks too, but I don't use them very often.

Edit: I also do this whenever I change flavors, even if it's only been 1 tank!

Thanks

Whats with the denture cleaner..lol?

I can't see the video DiNet linked too (blacklisted from the office) but it helps clean the remaining sugars and stuff off the coils/wicks and gets the stains out of the wick material.

I figure, people use it to disolve food particles on dentures and partials, and the "gunk" is more or less sugar and leftover glycol/glycerin and flavors, most (if not all) of which are food based, so it makes sense to me.

Honestly, I saw someone here post about it, and figured I'd give it a shot, the alcohol soaking wasn't quite cutting it for me. It worked great for me! So I just keep on doing it now.

Just make sure to rinse them well after the soak, else, your first vape is going to be "minty!" LOL
