When to get new batteries?

Hi all!

So I've been using the same AW 18650 2000mah battery on both my Vamo and my mech mod for about 3 months now and I've noticed that its not hitting as hard as it used to even at full charge. When is the right time to buy a new battery for your mod? Is there any safety problems I might have from using a battery that might be passed its lifespan?

It's not your battery. It's your delivery system.

Replace heating coils or replace the tank.

i dont think theres any safety concerns as long as your battery is still completely intact. i think AWs lifespan is like 300 recharges or something? not completely sure but i know its a lot. i was like you though and had only 2 batts, now i have 6. doesnt hurt to have extra

I replace 18650s about once a year, I not only use them in my mods but also high performance flashlights, AW, Panasonic, Samsung and Nitecore are good for about 500 recharges.
