Hi

I've been vaping for 17 days with my Halo Ultra tank and one of my clearomisers is starting to get very hot and continue to gurgle after I stop pushing he button.

I'm still learning, so does anyone know what are the signs that it is dead and I need to change it? Here's a link to the one I use; http://www.ecigarettedirect.co.uk/ce5-clearomisers-non-changeable.html

Thanks a lot everyone!

Have you changed juices recently? Some juices, especially if you don't let them steep much, can start to taste burned.

Clean your clearomizer with lots of hot water and work hard to clean them (IE lots of vigorous motion), then let them dry for a day or more. Then put in a different juice other than you used before. Best to use a juice with a completely different flavor profile so you don't run into the same problem.

It's possible that your clearomizer is fine, but the juice you used just doesn't work well without lots of steeping. I ran into this using an EC Blends raspberry juice. I thought my clearos were toast, then loaded up a totally unused clearo and had the same thing happen. Cleaned out my old clearos and they work just fine.

Taking it apart by pulling off the clear plastic tank often causes the tank to crack slightly, which will cause perpetual leaking. You can remove the silicone cap over the coil, and if it is gunked up, clean and dry burn it, then rinse it off to remove the ashy flavor.

There comes a point where it just won't vaporize well or starts leaking a lot, typically from two to four weeks, so you may be nearing the end of it's life. Good luck!
