When you switched to a Reomizer where did your nic level end up?

I use the same 18-24mg that I did before and after. Hasn't changed for me at all.. Don't feel guilty if you are the same way.

I haven't changed my nic, either. I was at 12mg for a good two months prior to my first REO, and 1-1/2 months in, I'm still at 12mg. Although, I do cut to 6mg in the evenings, since I do still require sleep, lol. That would probably have been the case had I still been a tank user. It's a natural progression for me, as I do feel that I slowly am requiring less nicotine, but still want to chain vape like a freight train, lol!

Like many, my nic has followed an inverse relationship - the higher yield the device/topper is, the lower the nic level.

18mg with egos/clearos
12mg with high end APV's/carto tanks
8 mg with mechs/RBA's (including, now, the reos)

Throughout, flavour (a huge issue for me) has gone up while TH and nic absorption has remained the same (I'm intaking about the same net mg of nic per day).

You're supposed to halve your intake when you go from cartos or any other high-ohamge type atomizer to a sub-ohm RBA. I went from 18mg to 10mg. After about two months my throat began to hurt, and my B&M knocked me down to 8mg. After about a month of that, the same thing began happening with my throat again, so they dropped me down to 4mg. This was about two weeks ago, and I'm about ready to drop down to 2mg. The throat pains haven't begun yet, but if I chain vape for about 20 minutes straight, which I usually do all the time, I'll throw up.

I was at 12 mg for nearly 3 years and I'm at 12 with the RM2. I like my coils to be between 1.8 and 2.0.

When I was first learning the RM2, I made myself sick from too much nic, but now that I have it figured out, I'm vaping the same as I did with cartos and using the same amount of juice (about 5 ml a day). I used to smoke a pack a day and I feel like I vape twice as much as I used to smoke, so I get really confused when I see posts from people who say they go through 30 ml in a day.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I've always chain vaoed 24mg and still do with my RM2????

You're not doing anything wrong. You're not smoking (prolly?). Whatever works is cool beans. I stepped down (note that that is a sample size of exactly 1) because I didn't enjoy the vape I was getting. No other agenda at play for me.

I was at 18mg, and after switching to 100% RDA's I'm still at 18mg.

I did indeed notice a bump in nic buzz, but I took it as a huge plus. I vape differently on an RDA than I did on a cartomizer, as in I vape more like I smoked. I like that a lot.

It's essentially the vaping experience I was chasing after since switching from cigarettes. Less of a "puff fest" and more of a satisfying drag with instant gratification I can physically feel and appreciate. (warmth, throat hit, flavor, lung feel, and the all important NIC BUZZ)

I go through about 4-5ml a day. In the end it works out to be about the same I was going through on carto-tanks.

However, I did cut the flavoring down in my DIY drastically. I went from 25%-30% flavoring in carto-tanks, down to a mere 5%-10% with RDA's.

One of the greatest advantages to a side airflow RDA is how much control you have over the end result, and how drastically different those end results can be. (airlhole size, wire type, wrap style, coil size, coil position, amount and type of wick...)

With the tight draw stock airhole of the RM2, I could probably set it up for you to where you would need to UP your nicotine level. LOL

I started out on stick batts using 8mg (cause it was a "light", and I smoked lights, made sense to me. Quickly figured out that wast getting it done, bumped to 18mg, still wasn't enough. Bumped to 24mg. Upgraded to a VAMO and a mech clone, with evod's, dropped down to 18mg. Bought a couple of cheap clone RDA's, dropped down to 12mg. Bought my REO and RM2 used, still doing 12mg, but think I need to drop my flavor % down now.

I started at 24 mg, and had worked down to 6 mg by the time I first got a Reo, and then dropped down to around 3 mg when I got my first RM2 - not necessarily because I was feeling over-nic'd but partly because I felt that I was vaping more, and partly because I had been working on decreasing nic in general. I also switched to mostly VG and decreasing flavorings. Right now I'm putting 10 drops of a pre-mixed flavored 6 mg into VG my 6 ml bottles, and 5 drops of a pre-mixed flavored 6 mg into VG in my 3 ml bottles.

i started with ego's and my nico level was 18mg's

soon moved to vv 18650 mods using vivi novas and then to cartos with tanks and then just carto. nico stayed the same but i started lowering the nico just to get off of nicotine. months later i finally got to 0 nicotine. i missed throat hit so i went to 8 mgs.

with rba's and lower ohms i dropped to 6 mgs. then i switched to dual coils and have to drop to 3 mgs.

back to single coils at 8ohms and im doing well at 6 mgs of nicotine

I think making your own coils is the purist form of vape production and its more concentrated then mass produced feeding systems.

and because of this less flavor and less nicotine is needed for the same result

I was a 1.5 PAD smoker for almost 35 years. Yea, I'm an old fart. :) I started vaping 18mg and quit smoking altogether that same day. I'm currently comfortable vaping 12mg and am contemplating dropping to 8mg for the heck of it. Next week is my 3yr since I stopped the stinkies:)
