You have a very good looking son. I know you are proud of him. I see you are going to be grandpa. It is a special thing when you become a parent but its great when you become a grandparent. My husband was always to busy to enjoy our children. It was left up to me to raise them. He was never that close to my son and daughter but now he realizes what he missed out on. He is now closer to our children and loves his grandsons. He is the father I always wanted him to be.

Now that I've had a minute to think about it, did son really not say a word and keep girlfriend from you all this time?

Not a word to anyone. It was the ultimate in alopement (sp) plans. Only thing missing was the ladder and the second floor bedroom window to carry her out of. Nobody knew. I knew he had a friend named Gina, but I never got to know her that much. But I guess that was the way they wanted it. It came as a total shock to me.

UPDATE: My son just called from the hospital. Gina is in labor! I will post further developments as they come in. Stay tuned to this thread for further details.

(looks like it's gonna be a long night)

Speechless... Just speechless... I pray to God that when this baby grows up into a man, the world will be a better place than it is now.

What greater gift to be given this Christmas. A son for my son, and a grandson to me. Nothing will ever top this.

WOW, that was the single most powerful video Ive ever seen! This wasnt on a TV show-this was real, raw emotion from a father. I cried along with you....;) I could only wish my dad would have an ounce of emotion for me and my brother of what you just showed....I honor you for doing this.....Patrick can now have a place when he is happy, sad, proud, or whatever that he can come here and watch this to make him feel loved and accepted.....Not many children these days will ever feel the emotion you put into ur video. I could only imagine Patrick and his brother grew up in a loving, caring home and you just cant ask for anything more..

:thumb: to you! And I wish patrick the best on his new journey! :)
