When you're waiting for a package from China that has been pending forever....

Finally it shows up in your town....

That magic update says it's out for delivery AND IT'S SATURDAY! You have the rest of the night to play with your new vape mail!!!! OH THE JOY OF IT ALL!!!

Then it passes the usual time the mail would have come, before you go outside, you check your shipping updates one last time....

"Notice Left (No Secure Location Available)"

WTefff!? They always just leave packages on the porch.... The doorbell never rang.... No knock on the door.

You check your door for a note... nothing...
You check the mailbox for a note.... nothing... except bills and other misery....

You remember you have a IP Camera on your front porch.

You watch the footage. Mail truck drives up... leaves in less that 1/2 a second.

:-x:-x:-x:-x:-xYOU DIDN"T EVEN TRY TO DELIVER IT YOU Mother %&*$#$. :-x:-x:-x:-x:-x

SOOO ANGRY.....

**FYI - It was a Daedalus Coil kit from efun.top, I was planning on making claptons all night =(**

Make sure you get to the post office first thing Monday morning before it gets shipped back for something like Addressee Unknown, or Undeliverable.

I have it "rescheduled for pickup"

Since apparently I have to pick an option when that message comes up.

I know it was a different driver because the lady that normally delivers the mail brings things to the door every time (assuming they don't fit in the box)

I'm going to show some sort of mgmt the video, not that it matters because they wont do anything about it, but it might make me feel better.

Do you happen to have any Beware of Dog signs or the like on your property? I was told by the PO once (when a package wasn't left for me by a sub carrier) that the BOD sign on the front gate post meant they didn't have to get out and leave my package. Regular carrier knows there's never a dog out (mine) that's off the leash. 91 year old mother just insists on leaving the sign up even though she hasn't had outdoor dogs since 2000! Better for security leaving the sign up, she says. Pppfffttt!

According to all the documentation on the site it takes 18650s.

even if it is 26650 wouldn't matter I could put 18650s in there fine. which I have 10 of.

Even again.... I just need the jig, the "drill" is just bonus.

Yup.
Lazy carrier.
Stealing time.
They finish the route in less time, and get paid for the full day.
The Postal service used to be an honorable job when applicants had to pass the civil service exam.
They did away with that, lowered pay, and apparantly now hire fast food workers with a clean DL.

Nic`d Up in Oklahoma!
You might try showing the video to the post master, maybe he cares about his integrity/job, maybe he could care less.

I used to live in such a town, and they did that ALL THE TIME. And the post office was a nightmare ALL THE TIME. Now I have a post office box and its much better. I have to go get it, but I know when it is there. Maybe something to think about? a PO box.

BTW, you can thank the union bosses for your plight. :?(

Happens every Christmas season in droves.

Packages loaded on the truck in numbers greater than can be delivered in a single day.

New guys don't want to put a full shift in... and won't have a job next month anyway.

Maybe FF workers should be made to pass the civil service exam?!?!

It's bad enough the food Is garbage.

Not knowing what unexpected surprises come in it.

They really got you by the gonads and it's like nobody realizes it.

And normally you'd never know...

That's why FF workers have a manager standing over their shoulders, and why McDonald's dont deliver to your house.

Which accomplishes...

Nearly nothing.

I've seen hundreds (maybe thousands) of meals spit in.

That's not to include the creative and/or unspeakable.

Some with the approval of management and/or owners.

These managers usually take those positions due to lack of options and/or refusal to have real responsibility. ;)

Hell... I've seen 200lbs of rotten meat be sold from one establishment in a shift.

1 burger came back.... the only complaint......

I will NEVER forget what I've seen in the food industry... some of which went for $200.00+ per plate.

Meh

I'm on the road perpetually.

And constantly apprehensive at meal time.

I have some provisions.

Just sometimes need something a little different.

I'm the cook in the house anyway.

I can make gold out of garbage.

Just don't have the time and resources available anymore. Shrug

ETA: I did some work for my grandfather's refrigeration business when I was younger.

If the place gets 5 stars, I won't eat there unless they let me personally inspect the kitchen.

Critters find the good stuff more efficiently than humans and swamped places get cleaned less often and make more waste usually.

Worst places I've seen were 5 star restaurants and kfc/taco bell locations.

No porch cam here but the same thing happened on Thursday. At 8:13 AM. A effin' M.

Supposedly. I think I would have heard the knock.
And it's a house porch completely hidden from the street... in a very rural neighborhood.
"No secure location" my ....

Used the website to reschedule for Friday with instructions to leave it on the porch.
They did... along with the three others expected on Friday... in a full size garbage bag (it was raining).

:D

One of the others was a batch of FAs from NicRiver, but the delayed one was a pair of matched cake pans (the cake keeper was one of Fridays)... so I made a cake. It's good.

You get Claptons... but I've got cake. :p

The daedalus is amazing btw, made ~10" of dual fused claptons in about 1.5-2 mins.

Sadly I can't get them to tighten in my hadaly. Not enough capture space =(

Had to go with a standard clapton which it also made flawlessly.
