Asking for a friend.

@AXIOM_1 is telling me decent nic is now $40 per 120ml. That's what we were paying for a LITER back during Days O' Stockpiling.

I'm thinking there MUST be better options out there, no?

If anyone has any recommendations for him, please post a reply.

Thanks much, all!

The last liter I bought (in 2018) cost me less than although close to $55. That included a UPS delivery, to my door! I'm so glad that there's still almost 3/4 left in that bottle, so technically I have at least another 5 or 6 years before I have to start thinking about looking for a place to get some. I don't really have any suggestions myself, but UncleJunkle does, and more.. (I should note that I am not financially affiliated with him, his blog, or his blogs contents.. )

THANKS, SMC!!! Cracking up at the "affiliation"...

I almost tagged him and @JCinFLA , figuring if ANYONE knew, one of them would. :)

Ya there is some great content in the blogs here. Unc's came to my mind first, due to the topic title, otherwise I probably would've posted a link to the blog section..

To the best of my knowledge, the only US-based nic sellers that are still retailing to US consumers are in this list, and all of them are much more than $40/liter now since Heartland seems to have stopped retailing and PerfectVape's strongest retail offering seems to be 24mg freebase. (I think they go as high as 60mg for salt nic but my blog post is strictly for monitoring freebase availability and prices so I don't pay a whole lot of attention to salts and that Nixodine stuff.)

Cheapest you're looking at now is $92/liter for freebase and higher (usually) for salts. That's before shipping, which you can expect to be probably over $12/liter.

If you find out who that source is that's selling 100mg/ml liters of freebase for $40, do let me know so I can add them to the list. My guess is that person was referring to HV or some some now-defunct retailer.

Thank you, sir. That person was me, but the last time I bought nic was 2016 (I think). MAYBE 2018. I'll have to check the freezer, but I'm pretty sure all the stock-ups were completed in 2016.

Times have changed, particularly where pricing of goods is concerned.

Yeah, I see now that you actually said $40/120ml which is more accurate. I only think in terms of liters cuz I'm, y'know, in it for the long-haul like the rest of the few regulars left here.

    I was wrong. That happens.

    Often. :blush::oops:

MOST of my bottles are 2016, but I apparently did buy three in March 2018. Those are my young'ns. I got them at the same prices though, before MFS shut down.

My entire stock of nic is MFS. I've never vaped anything else. It's fine for me.

No - I was paying $40-$55 per LITER. We always waited for the sales. I think they were $55ish at regular price, but don't quote me.

HE is NOW paying $40 for 120ml - yes, that's correct. That's when my eyes bugged out.

    "WHAT???????"

My vape-age is showing. Not to be confused with Vapeage, the squonk guys. ;):w00t:

There was also Vapage. Their clearance prices on rebranded coils before they closed shop allowed me to be able to ditch rebuildables should I decide to (which I largely have) for a pittance.

VAPAGE! That was them. They made the cheap squonker for folks who didn't want to spend the bucks on a Reo. I had one (shocking, I know - lol).

I'm with you on the blister-pack coils. That's probably 90% of what I'm using these days.

Truth is that neither @Katdarling nor I ever really wanted to be building coils, but we finally did it to "FDA-Proof" our vapes. It was fun for a while, but now I just want to pop something in and vape the dang thing.

To paraphrase Forrest Gump, "Lazy is as lazy does."

Yeah, rebuilding gets to be more of a drag every year as my vision gets poorer and my patience gets thinner. I mean, I just don't feel like working to have a vape.

I don't even want to make my own juice anymore, but it's not nearly the put-off rebuilding is. For me it's very simple as I'm a one-flavor pony and I just make big batches 3 times a year or so. I just made a batch today in fact. Plus that commercial juice is not only expensive but I remember how super sweet and flavorful it used to be back in the early days, and I hear that hasn't changed. I'd never be able to vape that junk as I'm not into super sweet or super flavorful juice...at all.

I'm okay with mixing still, but I get it. My juices are all really simple stuff. Nothing complicated and nothing that requires any extensive recipes.

I too though am quickly getting to the point that I just want to vape. Easily, whenever possible.

Vaporvapes.com has options for premixed. Chose strength up to 48mg, and various pg/vg formulas. Runs around $56 liter.

Thanks, Storm, and nice to see you! :)

Also, I have been from one end of the web to the other looking at freebase nicotine manufacturers and suppliers. They are all expensive nowadays unlike when some of you in the past purchased large quantities and stocked up. I have been vaping a lot of years and so I suppose I am considered an old timer when it comes to vaping. However, I have always just purchased smaller quantities of nicotine and never stocked up, which is unfortunate. The prices of nicotine certainly are more than quadruple in price than when I started vaping. I am in the process of stocking up now but that does not alter the fact that the current prices are totally insane no matter where you purchase it from. Central vapors are one of the cheapest but unfortunately, I have had bad luck through the years with their nicotine and have received many bad odor and brownish colored nicotine bottles from them. Nicotine Giant is where I have been ordering from lately as their nicotine is very good but the nicotine from there costs twice as much as Central for smaller batches.
