stationed in san diego california been here for 6 years just got off active duty and now in the reserves

I'm looking for a good guard Air National Guard unit around San Diego, because I want to go to school out there when my AD contract is up. Know any? I know I should do my research first, but it's always better to get it straight from some one rather than a PR web site.

Good luck with your new mission.

Really?... When somebody asks you where you are stationed, you tell them "I can't tell you. Think OPSEC?"

:p

Sure, in that context it seems okay. Larger picture, not so much. I have seen threads like this go awry many times before on different forums. On a small scale it shouldn't be a big deal but, when you have hundreds of replies with folks saying where they're stationed and what they do that becomes an COMPUSEC/COMSEC issue. Add this thread with the others from around the net and with a little research you can start to see the larger picture of how many folks are where and working on what. SonOfAries was absolutely correct.
