I've watched a lot of reviews on clearomizers and tanks and have decided that I really want to try the phoenix bottom coils. I'm not liking the cartomizers that came with my starter kit. I tried out my eliquids on a drip atty and really liked them, but then they tasted very muted when I put them in the carto. I also don't like not being able to see how much I have left. So anyway, gotvapes is sold out of the 808 phoenix clearos. I was wondering if anyone knew of any other vendors that sold them? If not, does anyone know how long they usually take to get them back in stock? I think I could last another week or two using these cartos that I have, but if it is going to take longer than that, I'm going to need to find something else.

Smokeless image just posted on their subforum that they just got them in today. They said the website is being updated and they should be up soon. I think they are going to be $10-$11 and you can use the coupon code YOURVOLT00 for 15% off. The Phoenix is just the name that gotvapes sells the ce3 under, so look for ce3 on the SI website.

I love them and am waiting for SI to put them up myself. They give tons of vapor, easy to clean and last 3-4 times longer than a carto

Hmm for some reason these are not working on my SI Volt manual batteries. My manual battery works with my regular cartomizers and the bottom coils are working with my automatic battery. Anyone else have this problem?

What kind are you using, the Phoenix or the the SI ce3? Are you using them on the small batteries or the x2

I had tried the Vision Transparent Clearomizer for 808/VGO. I believe it was the first version. It was great until broke and leaked all my juice out. I have seen newer versions v3 v4 and am leery of trying because of my initial experience. I recently seen 6ml Dual Coil Metal Tank- 808D Style thinking about giving one of them a try with my 808/VGO.

I am using the new c3s from SI on my 78mm SI manual battery (not the X2). Someone else told me to pull up the post on my battery to make better contact, but I have no idea how to do that and don't want to break it :(

That was me. Very simple. Take a toothpick, like you are cleaning it and just stick it in between the post and threads and just pull it up a touch, you will barely notice it move,

. It's going to raise just a fraction, but it's probably all you need

Clearly, Mr Outlaw is a genius. :)

I love these too, and I'm sorry to hear that they're planning to change them. I wonder whether the syringe version will still be available once the new ones come in? I like them just the way they are.

Smokeless image said they will stop carrying them if the new ones are better, but you never know, they may keep carrying them.

From what I understand, the only thing they are changing is how you fill them. The new ones are still supposed to be the same bottom coil design. I'm interested to see how they do it

Dang it! That sucks. I just figured out how to do it with the syringe and thought how much quicker and easier is is than filling a filter Carto!

You never know what they are going to do. They have posted that there are more on the way.

Personally, I will use a syringe, even with the new ones. I like using a syringe

Hopefully they don't change them so much as refine them. Awesome product that works extremely well with a few minor quirks. I've had a leaker and a pourer but the leaked was easily fixed by disassembling/cleaning/reassembling. The pourer continued to pour but that could have been the hot cinnamon liquid that caused that

Generally they leak because there is a hole or crack in the plastic tube, the cup seal isn't seated right, or the center air tube is too high. Also, blowing through them too hard will cause a leak since you are basically blowing the juice down and out the bottom. If you need to clear the air tube, it is best to do it from the battery connection side.

From what smokeless image has posted on their forum, they are just tweaking them so that you don't need to use a syringe to fill them (I'm very curious on how they accomplished that since they work by vacuum).

One thing to remember is that no clearo or carto will be universally perfect. The way they perform (leaking, clogging, dry hits) is dependent on the juice we use. Since there are so many juices and they all have different viscosities, it would be difficult to make any juice delivery device that would work universally. If they make it to handle thick, high vg juices and help them to wick easier, then the thin high pg juices will flood the drip cup or battery. And vice versa. That's why sometimes we have to tweak them on our own to fit the juice we use.

I use the bottom coil ce3 90% of the time and they almost always work perfectly. Most of my juices are 70%pg 30%vg. If I take the same clearo and put in a 50/50 juice (and by the same, I mean one that I was using so I know it works) I get a dry hit sometimes.

I guess it's the price we pay, but it's worth it.
