I recently decided to try my hand at re-wicking and putting in new wire into my clearomizers......ok I ordered the ceramic woven loosely woven from McMaster......gotta say I dont like it.......also got some Nichrome 60 wire I think from madvapes and used it but does not seem to get hot enough. OK so my question is....where can I find wire and wick all in the same place that compares to cloud 9 supplies here in the USA? If this is the only place to get it...cloud 9...I will but just wanted to us USA products if possible. Thanks!!

have you tried using nextel?

go to a local shop that does home heating and cooling and ask for fiber fire ......ant rope and take the outer covering off and inside is braided thin strips of wicking material / lowes and home depot have it too for around fireplace doors; hope this helps

Is it safe to vape the wicking material for a rope designed to go around a fireplace door? Cause if it is ,I am going to go get some today. Thanks for your response.

3m makes the nextel ceramic wire insulation that can be a good wick. I could never prep it properly and didn't like the taste...

Both can be found from the same vendor at the links below. I've ordered the wick from them, works great for my vv nova and ato-mizer rebuilds. The wire I haven't gotten from them, I got it off ebay. Looks to to be the same tho except mine is 34ga.
