Hello,

Brand new to the forum, but I just got my V2 E-Cig yesterday and love it. I ordered three different kinds of juice from Highbrow, since I read they are some of the best around. Also, I ordered a bunch more stuff from V2 (power cig, blank carts, another charger etc...).

What I'm wondering is are there better quality carts out there for the V2 and at an even better price than the ones available on their site? I like the V2 ones, but I'm always looking for the best.

Any advice on cartomizers and liquid would be greatly appreciated.

Another thought, what are the practical differences between PG, VG, and mix type liquids? I ordered some of each form Highbrow...:)

The differences between PG, VG and mixed ratios eliquid are based off of the liquids properties.
PG: Thinner, sweeter liquid that gives less vapor but more flavor to ejuice. Some people are sensitive to this liquid.
VG: Thicker, Higher volume vapor producing eliquid may reduce Throat hit and flavor when used at 100% in juice.
50/50 Mixtures : Often preferred for optimal vapor production and TH and flavor.

As for cartomizers: a standard voltage PV (3.2V average) loves a LR (1.5-1.8) Dual Coil cartomizer. Smoktech or Boge:)

As for the V2 never used one :)

V2 is an 808 and, therefore, is compatible with the cartos at Smokeless Image (who has the very best at very good prices).

PG carries flavor and nicotine very well and is thin. However, it's also very drying to the throat.
VG doesn't carry flavor or nicotine very well and is very thick so doesn't wick as well. But, it's also where the clouds of vapor come from.

A mixture is usually best.

About the cartomizer, the V2 uses a 4.2v or 4.7v battery. If I buy a 3.2v cartomizer will I then not be utilizing the full potential of my battery and not getting as good a vape?

Batteries are measure in voltage. Cartomizers are measured in resistance. If you use cartos with higher resistance, they will be resisting the voltage and you won't get much out of your device. If the resistance is too low, the vapor will get too hot, the carto filler may get burnt, and you may just pop your atty and ruin it.

So, the correct balance is required.

The only thing I can suggest without knowing anything else about you is this:
Always have back-up batteries, extra juice, and a back-up charger! And, preferably back-ups for your back-ups!

V2 batteries are nominally 3.7v. They will be 4.2v right off the charger, but will drop to 3.7v. 3.2 ohm cartomizers are too high for use with V2 batteries. V2 cartos average about 2.7 ohm.
