Where can I get GG or other untreated, pure silica wick?

I get my silica from thehouseofvapor.com its very cheap and so far I've not had a single problem with it. (I grant you I only use silica in like 1 atty and thats just because i haven't taken the time to make a new ss mesh wick for it)

You can make it smaller by removing strands

There is silica wick out there that is not worth anything

I generally only go to silicawicks for wick if CoV is out. Other than that I try to avoid shopping there because he sells non-OEM GG items.

Silicawicks doesnt sell knock offs, they sell 3rd party accessory parts. They do this because parts for Ody have not always been easily available. The quality is just as good, (Okay, almost as good as Imeos,LOL) and they offer only mouthpieces and PMMA clear tanks for people who cant find them when needed. THey in no way say they are GG. Also when people sell these items people usually state this or should so no one gets something that isnt what it should be.

I get my silica (3mm) from an ebay seller ( ecf member) that goes by vaporbase. Its very good silica. I just always miss out when the GG silica is in stock. It is a high temp silica ( over 1000 centigrade) It can be torched and stays white and I can reuse it many times over. I always boil my new silica ( its not necessary but I do it) and then I torch it before use to get any " off taste" that might affect the taste of my juice.

Don't get me wrong, Carl has definitely helped me out. And those Hagerstrom tips are amazing. I just don't, personally, want to use any non-GG items on my GG. That would be like putting Toyota parts on a Bentley. Just my

yeah go to COV and just do a search for wick and scroll to the bottom of screen and 3.5mm imeo approved silica wick is available in 3ft lengths for i think $2.25. i just picked up 15ft that was delivered the other day and its great. i now only buy the stuff that imeo has had tested for use in vaping so you know what your getting is quality and not harmful

Do you guys still boil the wick you get from COV? I've never done anything to it, didn't realize one was to boil or otherwise treat silica until recently.
