I have been kicking around the idea of building my own vv/vw mod but i dont know where to get the the components that i will need. I want to build a pen style mod with functions of a vamo v5 or Tesla. Right now i am running a vv ego style from egeneration and want a with a protank 2 and know i can do better. any help would be great.

As far as I understand from your post, you want to buy a PV, not build your own mod 
Honestly the easiest way would be to decide which parts you want and than google to find the cheapest place in a distance acceptable by you.
No one store carry all the parts so it would be pointless to suggest a specific one.
If you want to build your own mod that's a completely different story, but I don't think you want to jump there if you're just using a twist battery right now

So... in other words, you want to build a DIY equivalent of the Innokin iTaste 3.0. Considering you can buy one for $30 or less, attempting to build one seems rather pointless.
Fitting one with a Protank Mini... and you're still well under $50.
no i dont want innokin iTesee 3.0. i want a removeable batter setup as i keep killing my vv ego
it doesnt sound like you have too much requirements or special expectations so just get one of the cheapest good ones (you can find the vamo v5, itaste svd and sid for $50).
