Have you drilled the air hole out any? Can't tell if yours is stock or not. I found that it made a big difference in performance for me - drilled mine to 1/16" and it kicks ..... You may want to go incrementally up to that size to find your desired draw etc. Btw, the coil placement looks spot on here.

No I haven't it's stock currently may look into that. I'll probably screw it up

IDK man I have concluded (possibly prematurely) that I just taste cotton no matter what. Could be wrong but there's nothing wrong with silica or other wicking options out there (except it's a little more difficult to wick a micro [just a very little bit]).

Yea still tastes like cotton....

Yeah I don't know if it's the cotton, I just cleaned the tube and bottles with alcohol, because when I would drip to fill the bowl it would taste good and squonking was funky

O.K. so dripping into the RM2 it tastes better, good even. And squonking you are not getting that good flavor.

So, it leads me to believe that your squonking needs a little work. You must squonk enough to soak the cotton inside the coil. If you are not getting enough juice in there you will not have good flavor.

Take the drip tip off and watch as you squonk. Watch the juice come up and cover the coil. Give it a few seconds to soak good. I squonk juice up over the coil. That way the juice has time to soak good before it drains back down.

Hope that helps.

Use Less Cotton, Also you may be wrapping the many coils. I find that if I don't get enough power burning the juice the cotton taste lingers for quite awhile. Which I have to say is awful, the only atomizers I use that never have a cotton taste out of the gate are the KayFun & Squape. Let me know if that works for you doing 6-8 wraps instead of 10. Also what the guy said above, MAKE SURE YOU LET THE JUICE ABSORB ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE COTTON BEFORE FIRING, YOU MAY WANT TO BURN IT FOR 5-6 SECOND WITOUT TAKING A DRAW, RE-APPLY THE JUICE THAN DRAW, JUST MY THOUGHTS

Well I've been tinkering and I'm getting closer I got a call tonight from Clark at nicoticket, he talked to me about getting the rm2 to work correctly for me, especially when using a juice such as the virus

I have some new ideas and I'm going to try them out I will continue to post my progress so that hopefully in the future if someone has trouble they will be able to benefit from my experience.

I must say that is the first time a juice vendor has gone out of their way to call me and help me with a problem completely unrelated to his particular product.

So big kudos to Clark at nicoticket, ps if you didn't know his juice is amazing!

I have learned better squonking has made a large difference, I also slightly enlarged the airhole,
I also finally found a 1/16 hex wrench and compared it to what I have been wrapping on and I think I may have been wrapping a hair too small, I'm about to try to make a slightly larger coil, and see what it does...

its surprising how the slightest alteration makes such a big difference, give everything a try, you can go less then 1/16 for a nano coil but I don't normally wick them that small, just use cotton cloud
1/16 & 5/64 wicked are good, I don't go any bigger then that unless I get bored

Just make sure you don't over fill coils with cotton, less is more, if its bulging out the end then that's to much, this is more important then placement of the coil

If dripping tastes great but squonking tastes off. You may also want to consider taking the rm2 off and giving it a nice hot soapy bath. I usually just put some water in a gladware container, microwave, add dishsoap, and put the RM2 in and cover and shake for awhile, then rinse under water for a while to get the soap off.

It's possible that some of your previous unsuccessful attempts there was some burnt/nasty tasting juice that got sucked into the RM2 and are lingering.
