It's ok to fling poo you just can't use the word "poo" in your posts:D

Opp's I just used Poo twice I mean three times awe poo....I give up anyways.

I sorry you were vaping poo infused cotton....clearly someone put some poo beside the box prior to your arrival to make your purchase.

My apologies but at the same time my congrat's on your migration away from poo infused cotton!

Yep, until Rob starts making more woodvils you are clearly the winner :)

I want an 18650 cocobolo next or a vv cocobolo. Either will be perfect. Maybe I'll get both :)

O.k. Russ, you love the cocobolo, I get that. But is it fear that you will love another wood just as much that keeps you on the cocobolo path? Just sayin' because for me the Redwood Burl, Birdseye Maple Burl, KOA, and Lacewood are the most unique and gorgeous woods Robert has made.

For durability and awesome texture the Cocobolo is one of the best. I can understand the draw to it and acknowledge many prefer it to other woods.

You are prolly right Karen! I have my BELOVED jatoba. I'm going solely on Tim's recommendation about cocobolo. I look forward to my next new one and would prolly love it even if Rob made it out of a scrap of wood from the shizz house door off a tuna boat. :)

I know exactly what you mean by that! The Jatoba is very nice. What I love about the woods is the various grains that are found in the wood and how Robert brings that out in a wood REO. I swear I have the same wood in different REO's and it looks and feels different.

You could get several Cocobolo and the grain patterns in each would be uniquely different. It drives me crazy to know that many more woods are formed into REO's and they are lacking in my collection! I would love to be able to have one REO of each wood! LOL!

Curious... Anyone have a suggestion for a safe way to strip a thin layer of laquer off of a stabilized wood, and what wax or oil would be the best to shine it up after stripping it?

I know some have used a fine grit sandpaper to get the lacquer or poly coating off their wood REO's. Be careful if you go with a topical remover, the components for stabilization may be damaged on the surface.

Howard's Feed & Wax is the only thing I use because it was recommended on this forum. They have a location finder on their site, you can usually find it locally.

Ratman totally refinished his wood mod. You could contact him and find out how he did it, and what he uses for protection now.

Here is the article that I read.

Seriously though folks I know I'm late to the game but this micro/cotton thing is the bomb for certain juices.

I knew there had to be a reason I was having such trouble because so many people were loving it. People that I trust and know weren't talking out their ....-ox. I even went and bought that first cotton just for this purpose. Just got super unlucky that it had some scent to it ..... just my luck though.

Right now I have 3 micros rocking and life is pretty sweet.

The only thing between you and Rockstar vapes like us REOnauts experience is $115 for a brand new blem grand.

It'll be the best 115 you ever spent on vape gear :)
