where did the google search option go?

The regular search option at the top of the page is useless for the most part and I have always used the google search box displayed at the top of the screen...but now it has disapeared. Am I missing something?

I know, it disappeared after the site maintenance. I used it a lot in my various stages of research! Google changed their privacy policy and that may have something to do with it.

You can still get the same result by adding site:www.e-cigarette-forum.com at the end of your search string in the regular google...

You can take those out from Settngs > General settings (link in the left hand side bar). You'll find the option "Disable Social Buttons:" at the very bottom of the page.

Thanks, I do already have it disabled, but I still have the icon. Don't even want that.

Now you got me annoyed by that as well. I didn't even notice it.

I use Firefox, so in AdBlock I added

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clientscript/vbulletin_facebook.js

and it does the trick

The Google search and the go to my post are back, btw, yay!
