Perhaps something like this has been done before, but I just thought it would be interesting to start a thread to see the random places us e-smokers end up puffing on our chosen devices... from the most private (at home to the staff toilet) to the most public (on the tube in rush hour to your local pub).

For me, I haven't yet become much of an exhibitionist with my vaping, and mainly vape at home, work or the occasional discrete puff whilst out and about.

I'm sure that many of you have been far more adventurous and think it would be fun to post where you generally vape and any photos for evidence if you're that way inclined!!

Anyway, I'm not encouraging a list of 'the weirdest, most inappropriate places to vape', as this would be irresponsible and I hope that (like a lot of people on the forum) if you do occasionally vape in a public environment, you ask permission beforehand (if necessary) and explain the device instead of intentionally trying to raise eyebrows which would just be silly!

I vape mostly at home and at work (I have an office to myself, but I have vaped with other people around in there after explaining it to them).

I also vape when I'm walking around the local streets. There are all sorts of strange people around where I live, so no one really looks twice. Occasionally in the pub I'll discreetly vape in a corner, or go out to the smoking area if it's busy. I vaguely recall recently having a drunken conversation with a bouncer about my e-cig. He was pretty impressed.

That's similar to me - I guess it's one of those things that could well become pretty common place (fingers crossed) in the near future....

For now though, we are all really 'spokespeople' to a technology that could (with the right exposure) become a well known tobacco substitute the world over.... I guess I find this aspect pretty exciting, but also gets me pretty apprehensive as well should it get the wrong kind of exposure/reception!

I vape at home, in the car & on occasion discreetly at work (no one thinks twice about seeing what looks like a pen & they haven't noticed the vapors yet!)..I did enjoy vaping on outdoor restaurant terasses all summer where smoking is allowed anyways..so can't say that I'm being too much of a "rebel" !..just so happy about e-cigs and the freedom to not worry about real cigs anymore & all that guilt!

Besides at work and in my car, I vape at work, but very discreetly as I work for a government agency and they are very "picky" (ie can't wear any perfume or any other scented product as someone may be allergic, etc)....so I'd rather not take my chances in case they put the kibosh on it, then I'll be screwed.

I also vaped in WalMart the other day. It's a super center and most times I'm in there around 2 hours at a time....3 the other day while I was waiting for an oil change and new tires. It was really nice not to be dying for a smoke when I got out of there! Since my pen doesn't show much vapor, it wasn't noticeable that way and I carried it like a pen so that my hand was wrapped around the lower part of it and no one could even see the LED. It was pretty cool!

at home where I work most of the time. In the car, walking around with the dog. None of this is public and I have always smoked there. The reason I brought the e-cig was to use when photographing horses competing in indoor arenas. For the last 2 weekend I have stood in the ring happily vaping. Equestrian arena's were places smoking was very excepted before the ban. What will be interesting is when I photograph something like basketball or gymnastics. I cant imagin getting the e-cig out in the gyms.
So far they have been small horse shows I have smoked at. Next week I am at a major championship, that will be intersting to see what reactions come from the audiance. The week after I am at one that will be televised. I normaly get picked up by the cameras quite a lot at that event, so there may be televised vaping.

I vape pretty much everywhere..

Personally, I use it as I would an analog ciggy.. I suppose that is part of the reason that I could make the transition and completely quit analogs cold turkey. When friends go out for smoke breaks, I usually join them with my eCig.. They don't even mention anything anymore, and sometimes they ask to take a puff or 2 from mine! haha..

I vape in my office at work, I do vape when I walk around my building but only outside as I can't really be bothered to have to start explaining.

I vape in my car, but with a 901 it requires a lot of skill to pull up at the lights, pull out the mouthpiece, drop in a few drops of liquid, re seal and drop in some VG then puff away all before the lights change ! hehe

I have pretty much started vaping everywhere I go. I do vape in the house where I work, in the car (no more worries about my kids and second hand smoke!), in my Dr's Office, the Mall (there's a kiosk there now selling overpriced generics so I figure if he can do it and sell them I can vape too!) and in the homes of some of my non-smoking friends (they love that I'm not going outside and getting all stinky then coming back in). I have vaped fairly discreetly in the grocery store, wal-mart, walgreen's, Books-A-Million, a couple of restaurants and at my hubby's orthopaedic surgeon's office last Friday where I spent a lovely 4 hours. I went outside there while we were in the waiting room...no need to rock the boat...but when we were back in the exam room it was vape city! I'll be having a girl's night out sometime in mid December at our neighborhood bar and as my best friend is also a "Vapist" we will definitely be asking permission and hopefully vaping away inside. I'll let everyone know how that goes!

I generally vape at home, at work sometimes in the back room or in the fridge (Vape tastes especially good at really low temperatures... it's interesting).
I have one battery I use for public use that lights red. I took the endcap off and colored the inside of the cap with black sharpie. It makes the lighting effect look more realistic and 99% of the people that see it just assume I'm smoking a mini cigar.
I vape all the time in the car.
I've never vaped anywhere indoors in public as I wouldn't want the attention in the event someone noticed... although I have taken a few drags on the floor at work. I find that if you inhale a bit of air directly after a puff and hold it for a few seconds the vapor is nearly invisible.

I vape in the car and even at the photocopier!! Sometimes I forget my bottle of juice so I vape the cartridge dry!
