You can also solder the negative to the inside of the connector if you like. I have done both depending on the type of mod you are building. Then you can easily push the whole connector assembly into your mod with no obstructions. To make soldering a little easier, you can use .... end of a drill bit and push the center post out. You can also remove the silicon ring but it's a hassle to replace it. If you are new to this, I will offer one other bit of advice....get yourself some liquid flux or the paste from Radio Shack. It makes it so much easier. Good luck!

Yea I ordered the connector from madvapes thinking I could do it on my own but I don't think that is a possibility. The mod will not work no matter what I do and I do not have a tester to see what is going wrong and then worse still I thought it might be my battery and went to plug them in my charger and my charger broke  next lemony snickett is going to be writing of me instead of the Baudelaire kids!! So I have to wait until I get paid on wed and I'm just going to give it up for now and then order the plastic bolt from madvapes and then try again instead of pouring all my money into something that may not work. Thank you all for your replies and I shall be asking more questions another time!!!
