Really not happy with big tobacco stepping into ecigs BHam sir.... Yes brings them to the forefront, but worry a lot of great smaller vendors will be pushed out of business....

That is going to happen without BT once the major vendors get to a certain size.

They will push vaping into the main stream faster and better than anyone else.

I would love to see some big battery company like Duracell get into the e-smoke world. I think were growing in numbers and number of people mean $$ and when big companies see a decent size group spending $$ they will want some....this might help the quality issues we seem to face with products. I think we also will find some work places review vapeing as what it is vs..E cigarette and policy is no smoking. who knows maybe even let us have a vapeing section in restaurants.

I'm more worried about government getting involved.

Myyrkezaan (guessing sir) while vaping is becoming more popular, it's still the slow build we've been seeing over the past close to 5 years. BT will change that completely. You'll see vendors being swallowed whole, either through buy-outs or lawsuits. What the user will be left with in the end are over priced starter kits and accessories, not to mention who knows what they'll add to the ejuice. If they're willing to put carpet glue, arsenic, etc. in cigs, what do you think they'll add to their flavors?

Vendors being bought out I don't have a problem with, that's capitalism.

Vendors being shutdown by lawsuits I think would be harder, but if they have patents they are protecting why shouldn't they.

If they did that with juice they would be sued, don't think they will be adding things like that, but you never know.

Not sure how much impact BT will have on non US markets, but you should still be able to buy products and liquids in your worst case scenario for the US consumer.

In addition :)

BT knows that cigarettes days are numbered, they are trying to get into this market because there is money to be had and new consumers as well.

They will be lobbying to allow vaping in places where smoking is not. For their products to even make an impact they will have to be cheaper, which will cause others to drop price as well.

The biggest problem really is going to be nicotine restrictions which might be pushed by BP.

Really? They're already FDA regulated.

I don't think that's what he was saying

I understood that, was poking fun.

Mrrykezaan showing that if BT has no problem adding carpet glue to cigs, they can/will add whatever they want to ejuice when/if they start producing it.

They were forced to do this by law, they added it because they had to. They added it because some people thought this was a better solution than letting people die from fires started by cigarettes.

What is funny is that you're complaining about inhaling a substance that doesn't have long term research while inhaling a substance that doesn't have long term research.

What you're showing is that you're assuming they will be doing this, not that they will be doing this.

I tend to think they won't be doing that because they will lose money if they do and since money is their overriding drive they won't. They aren't even in the liquid market yet, haven't even talked about it and you are blaming them for something that isn't even close to being a reality yet for something they will do.

And lastly, by the look of your pic and you saying you smoked for 9 years, by the time you started everyone knew that it was bad for you and there were additional things in it that were bad for you. Why are you blaming BT?
