i sit at my desk and blow the vapor through an empty pen shell down into my lap.. no one has noticed because there is no big cloud of vapor... and no one is anymore the wiser cause it looks like i am just chewing on a pen.. lol.. i am now wondering if it would look too weird if i put some aquarium tubing on the end of the pen and let it hang down under the desk, if anyone would think that was weird..

i like to go outside.. but i stand really close to the door.. lol..

That is precisely why I am hesitant to Vape at the office. I can just imagine the headaches, nausea, rashes, severed limbs, etc. that would be attributed to it.

Tell them it's nic-free juice - what are they going to do, run a lab test on the spot? My wife think's my lychee juice is zero nic (and that's 90% of my vaping.) And I go outdoors for my ostensible nicotine hits :)

I vape in my cube. My boss knows and is happy for me. His wife is 47 years old, quit smoking 15 years ago and is now at stage 4 lung cancer.

I am freindly with the HR manager. She knows and just laughs when she walks by my cube. (she is an analog smoker)

All the non smoking people that sit near me have seen me and asked. I explain and no one has gone nuts yet.

I do not walk around with it in my mouth, nor do I vape in the restrooms. We play texas holdem at lunch each day and I vape in our breakroom (where we play) and no one there has flipped either.

I guess I am kind of lucky. :)

With analogs my option was to use a very small break room that was over crowded and stunk badly. We were banned from smoking outside on the premises due to an accident with landscaping material catching fire due to stupid smokers who couldn't be bothered to use an ashtray.

I used to go off the premises and walk down the street. Now I go out for a vape in my car as I love to get outside. Every now and then I will sneak a quick vape at my desk.

I still go out to the 'designated' smoking area. I'm at a major printer manf. so couldn't even think of vaping inside.

The place is full of every type of engineer and techno-geek you could imagine; yet none of them seem to have known of the existance of PV's. Most of my breaks now consist of explainations and demonstrations.

I work in one of those towns with a "no smoking policy". The rules at work allow for no smoking on the property, and no cigarette breaks. This is a huge difference from my last job where we could go out back for our 10 minutes for every 4 hours worked.

I know the management would freak out about it, so my vaping is confined to one of the one-seater bathrooms. Sometimes I'll need to make a "cleaning" stop in one of the vacant exam room, though. ;)

I vape at my desk. A lot.

The boss doesn't mind it (he's a smoker and owns an e-cig he never uses) but I don't vape a whole lot with him in my office cause I don't want it to become an issue.

If there are new people around or troublemakers (you know the type), I don't vape in front of them as not to cause any drama or issues. Its been a few months so most of the people at work are used to it.

Only one person says it smells bad. She's a b.tch.

I vape at my desk which happens to be situated right at the front door. I work for a huge online printing company. I puff out big huge wanna-be smoke rings as both my bosses walk past my desk and we giggle to death about it :) I try not to scare any of my clients who happen to walk in but any of my long-time clients whom I know are smokers I vape in front of them to make them jealous (and of course we all laugh about it).

I'm blessed to work in an ultra casual, fun, and open-minded environment so no one really cares and they are in fact happy for me that I stopped smoking cigarettes. Even with all that said, I made sure everyone understood what an ecig was so I wouldn't have any issues. I really don't flaunt it because it's not like I am chain-vaping and people don't even notice it much as a result.

I vape right at the front desk in our physical therapy clinic, albiet very discreetly. Fortunatly the counter is pretty high so when I'm sitting down no one notices. Sometimes I go into the bathroom to use it, or the copy room or an empty treatment room. I've shown and demonstrated it to several of our patients who are smokers and they are always intrigued but I don't know if any of them have converted yet. It's just such a relief to not have to stand outside in the rain or cold if I don't want to!

I work in a restaurant and the GM is an ex-smoker and is fully supportive of my efforts to be healthier. We do have a certain little shift manager with a serious inferiority complex who enjoys butting in and telling people what to do simply to try to be controlling who has tried to forbid me from vaping at any time on "her" clock. Also claims that it's unfair to the employees who smoke analogs because they're not allowed to get "their fix" as she called it.
After a sit-down with the GM about this, among other things, we have a "don't ask, don't tell" policy of sorts. Had to remind the assistant manager that what I do in the bathroom, etc. is no freaking business of hers and that continued questions will result in a complaint against her. Not an ideal situation, but it's less related to e-smoking itsself and more related to a very insecure little person trying to throw her weight around be in control.

Such is life.

I work in a manufacturing plant that has an extreme policy against smoking. ( extreme fire hazards including dust, chemicals...etc. ) Instant on the spot firing for being caught with a cig on company grounds. I would have to walk a half a mile to the parking lot and then drive another mile off company grounds to smoke. I would do this three times in a twelve hour shift. My 15 minute breaks were....well always a bit extended...lol. Sometimes in bad weather I would find a hidden spot to take a few drags on site:sneaky:, but stayed nervous the rest of the day due to the high amount of cameras everywhere. You always wonder if there are more than you know about...lol.

Now...with no smell or lingering smoke, I vape in my office when no one is around. No more long hauls to the parking lot and I can now spend my lunch break actually eating lunch.:) I don't let people see it yet, I don't want to spoil anything by the boss not understanding.
