Hello fellow Vapers,
SO I have a question and can't find it posted any where else so I will start a thread...
I have a problem buying mods/atty's and after a couple days I find that it did not work for me or I didn't keep it in rotation or worse yet it broke. I am kinda a hoarder and think well I might need this one day so I put it in my spare tackle box/Vape desk and there it stays until I go and look thru it and say wow I remember this lol. I have began pif'ing or giving away alot of my old stuff that works but I don't need/use anymore. The things that are broken I go thru and try mix and match parts or just play fetch with my dog with.
So the question at hand is where do your mods/atty's go to die?
I was thinking about starting a thread for people that have stuff laying around that they don't use or need, parts from mods they don't need or that they lost a piece to and now it does not work, SOmeone out there would pay to have your piece so they could get a broken mod working again. I know I would like to find certain parts for mods that I cant find replacements for as most mods you can't just buy a random spring or button for.
Prime example for me is a m16 clone that someone destroyed the threads on the 510 conn. so I could get a replacement tube and firing button to mod and play with. I enjoy collecting broken mods as I machine in spare time so one mans junk could me my treasure. I know thats an odd way to look at it but so many people have broke mods laying around and I for one am interested!
I have money to buy new mods just like the idea of being able to make my own mod out of the broken pieces you no longer need and are about to throw away!
I pifed alot of working things away and regret some of them but know I help out alot of people, hoping this post can help others too.
If you have some things that you want to get rid of let us know and who knows maybe someone needs that o-ring that means nothing to you, it could get someone up and running and keep them off the stinkies!
