Hi Everyone,

Have not been on the site for a while, but I am back. I have been free from analogs since July and I am loving vaping. My husband quit before me and hardly even vaps on anything stronger than vapor. I am working my way towards that. Everyone on this site was very helpful in me quitting smoking. Thank You.

My questions is (and I know this is going to sound stupid), but I feel like I may be vaping too much. I do not know how much is too much. I eventually would like to stop vaping as well, but only because I am unsure if long term this is bad for me too. Can I do this long term?

Can someone give me some guidance with this.

Thanks
Cynthia

I understand where you're coming from. To answer your question real quick, you're probably not vaping too much. Don't be discouraged! If you're worried about nicotine intake, many vendors give you the choice to lower your nicotine. I vape 2.4 mg/ml, which is a lot. You can go as low as 18% and 12% nicotine (edit: or zero nicotine!). But if you're worried about vaping in general, no, you're perfectly fine. Vape as much as you want/need. You'll be just fine.

I found when cutting down on nic level I'd vape a lot, when I first started I vaped constantly. Like my body was looking for the extra stuff in cigs and the only way I could not smoke was to keep puffing away. That stopped after I got used to it. I'd say at first don't worry about it! After a few weeks you'll probably calm down on the vaping.

Right now I've moved to 6 mg sometimes from 12mg all the time, and I'm vaping more. To be honest I do notice the occasional cough or phlegm, but as I adjust I know that'll go away when I stop vaping constantly. I do enjoy vaping when at home, and have it around constantly. I'd recommend you have a lower nic level for when you just sit around and vape for hours, there has been times I couldn't sleep because I vaped for hours straight at my normal level then tried to go to bed. For instance if you go out every two hours at work and vape for ten minutes, you probably don't want the same level when you get home and vape for two hours. All in all though just try and relax, you're awesome because you aren't smoking! Everything else is gravy and will come with time when you're ready.

No matter how much you vape it won't be as bad as smoking, so you are ahead of the game.

The only thing I would worry about is the amount of nicotine in your juice. Check the Health and Medical Issues part of this forum for the symptoms of nicotine overdose. If you're not experiencing any of those symptoms, you're not vaping too much.

The amount of juice you consume is also predicated on the delivery system you're using. Clearomizers such as the vivi nova are juice guzzlers, while cartomizers may consume less liquid.

If you're not throwing up nor having headaches you're ok.

Vape on! :vapor:
