From what I have gleened from other parts of the forum as a whole, the kr808d format ain't being shown much love. As for the rest of the SI lineup, I can only surmise that inventory seems to be a problem that SI is not addressing to it's forum members untill we ..... so loud that we get a "we're doing the best we can" type of answer. As for me, I want results not excuses. I have pretty much moved on to eGo batteries that I don't have to get "proprietary" clearos and heads for. This means I can search the web for the best pricing and selection. I haven't been getting that from SI. Don't get me wrong, I still love my cigalikes from SI for great stealth vaping, but I get my juice elsewhere among other things, so sorta moving on I guess.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat as above. I still check in here from time to time. I give SI props for getting me off cigs, but with the out of stock issues and a great local b&m opening up, I've moved on. I still think SI has one of the best customer service teams around. They can't control stock issues, but they giveit their all. I don't think cig a likes are for the starters anymore. I see most everyone starting out with at least an ego now days.

This is really bad for a business like SI. Classic over-expansion story.

And those stories don't end well. The "sorry, doing the best we can" excuse holds no water and they haven't said word ONE about the issues.

This coupled with the closed platform of the SI connection and I would be surprised to see SI in business this time next year. The customer service that they built this company on is also notably gone within the last months.

I posted this yesterday. They are in stock now.

''Good news everybody! We just got a truck in today with the Aspire replacement heads. We are going through it now but hopefully they will be on the site in the next day or two. We are going to see how many of each we received and we are going to place another order as soon as we get a gauge for how many we need. Like I said before, we are changing the way we order things so it has taken us some time to get used to. We have a pretty good grasp on it now so hopefully we will not have this problem anymore.''

Saying ''we are doing the best we can'' I know is not much of an excuse but it is the truth. The real problem is that the factories that we get our products from are getting busier and busier with other companies. We are getting a better idea of how much we need to order and how often so as I said before, we should be pretty well equipped to keep (most) everything in good supply. And again we do apologize for the issues that we have been having but hopefully the problem is solved.

Also, I am the Manager of the Customer Service dept here so if you guys have any issues with our service, just let me know and I/We will do whatever I/We can to make it better :)

I've been off the nasty analogs for over a year now, so the "honeymoon" has kind of worn off. I was here every single day for awhile reading and learning. Through various reviews of cig-a-likes I found SI. They were very highly rated...and I'm so glad I chose them.

My husband and I use the Volt X2 and the RY4 liquid exclusively. We decided to go to a B&M last weekend just to check it out. None of their tobacco flavors even came close and some were just downright disgusting. Plus, the salesman...well....just wasn't a great salesman. I know this doesn't represent B&Ms across-the-board, but my experience with SI has been nothing but excellent.

I'm not one of those that experiment much, though, with all the new stuff. Once I find something I like, I stick with it. And I like my e-cig combo and I like SI. They really do have excellent customer service. Plus, I tend to buy somewhat "in bulk" to avoid any stress of running out of supplies.

I've also referred several friends to them. Can't really fault them for "growing pains"...of their own and/or of others.

Just my :2c:.

It makes me a little sad how SI has changed since I started ordering from them. The Volt and Menthol Burst were the most important factors in helping me to quit analogs nearly 3 years ago.

The customer service used to be the best. Problems were rare and when they did occur, they were fixed immediately. The last straw for me was when the tracking said my delivery had arrived, but it really didn't. I reached out to SI and I was told (paraphrasing) that since the tracking said it was delivered, it was between me and the post office. They essentially washed their hands of me . . . and I have done the same.

I haven't ordered from SI for about 6 months and I consider that a big deal because their Menthol Burst is, hands down, the best e-liquid I have ever used, or will ever use. The only thing I love more than Menthol Burst is my family. I would commit multiple felonies to have Menthol Burst again. I've learned to do without. :(

I'm sorry Scurry, but you really are "cutting off your nose to spite your face"! What SI told you about your shipping woes was 100% correct, and completely out of their hands: USPS has its issues, and tracking/delivery mismatches are among the most prevalent. Packages also get stolen after delivery, particularly in "shared mail area" situations. There is nothing any vendor (not Amazon, not SI, etc.) can do about it.

So, if you really love Menthol Burst that much, ORDER SOME MORE! :rickroll: No felonies required. :)

BTW, did you eventually receive that one late/stolen package?

I think you missed the point. Perhaps I misplaced the focus. I spent hundreds of $ at SI and to be told, in essence, they didn't care whether I received my order was more than I was willing to accept. Any business that doesn't care whether it's customers are happy or unhappy, doesn't deserve to have customers.

    Are we related?:D

I feel/do the exact the exact same way! I love Smokeless Image. I have been tempted in the past by other products but can't bring myself to 'cheat' on SI! I have been a completely loyal customer for 14 months and see no reason to change that now. Especially because they have the MVP and iClear 16's now! I can't wait till I do this job coming up so I can get paid and order my big bundle... Gotta get my new batts And backup batts! I am soo excited! Its worse than a kid at Christmas!

I have 4 Mini Vivi Novas and 2 of them come apart all the time (despite my treating them like baby birds). It's a mess.

They told me I should have bought the regular sized one because it's not press fit and they would be happy to take my credit card number for that. Not the old SI customer service of old.

That was it for me. I would have happily been satisfied with a replacement of the hardware that never functioned correctly.

Maybe they couldn't because they didn't have them in stock. That could be.

I do though, appreciate you coming on the forum. It's something anyway.

    Awesome!!! We must be. :D

Now you've got me curious, though. What are these MVPs you speak of? Like I said I just stick with what I like. LOL

I haven't been around because at my one year I treated myself to an MVP. And then another. Unfortunately not the SI version. I have since picked up a Tesla and a K101 mech mod, Patriot and IGO-L drippers and have a Taifun on the way. I have also started building micro coils for my ProTank II's. I did pass on all of my SI/Halo stuff to my girlfriends son to get him on the right path. I do peek in from time to time though.

While thats all true, I've been an online seller since the late 90s, and I can tell you for a fact that it is the merchant who is considered to be at fault if an item is not delivered to the customer. It is the Sellers responsibility to get the package to the buyer. Amazon, Ebay and the Merchant account of the seller will all side with the buyer. If a chargeback is initiated and the seller did not get a signature from the buyer, the merchant account will side with the buyer and debit the merchant the original cost of the order plus a hefty fee. Amazon and ebay also will side with the buyer if there is no signature.

Delivery confirmation or regular USPS or FedEx tracking is meaningless without a signature.

Is it fair to the merchant? No, but that's part of the cost of doing business online these days.

SI should have offered a replacement.

Alot of sellers don't realize it either...until they get hit with a charge back from their merchant account. Or an A to Z from Amazon, or a Paypal dispute on Ebay.

I send everything over $50 with signature confirmation these days.
