I guess I could give it a try. I think most of us old fogeys are used to typing in the normal forums we're used to. The chat is a 'new' thing here at ECF.

I used to chat, 15 years ago ... AOL, AIM, ICQ. Was quite addicted, for a few years. Even did the IRC thing for a little while. Just checked out the ECF IRC chat. More user friendly than I recall mIRC long ago.
Every once in awhile I will visit this forum's chat room, but like you stated, nobody is there --- normally...Other chats I use to visit usually have a standard time(s) that everyone knows when to go there if one would like to chat....Maybe we can start that system here...Just with the diverse population on this forum, it would be hard to pick a time or times when everyone would be available..But, chats overall are great...Enjoy...
