Where is the Bridge in the Atty on a 510

I keep hearing about dripping on the bridge of the atty. Well I have a Joye 510. Is the bridge the part that sticks up or the circle around that part?

it is the part that sticks up. The silver thing that looks like a bridge going over your atty.

I don't know how people manage to drip juice diretly on it. I try to but sometimes it goes onto the circle and it floods the atty.

I think you would have to use a syringe to make sure you hit it. It's in a cavity and very difficult to control where the liquid is going.

I'm new to this as well and feel your pain. It took me quite a few flooded attys and dry burns before I could consistently get the right amount of juice in the right place. The little bottles with the long spout help, as does dripping a tad to the side of the apex of the bridge so the wicking material underneath it can soak it in before it runs off the sides. I hold it so I'm looking at the bridge from the "side." Look closely you can probably see the fine hair like material under the bridge. Sometimes I also cheat by lowering the drip down to the bridge before it gets heavy enough to break surface tension and dab it on. Thicker juice seems a bit easier to deal with too.

There is a little bit of a learning curve, but like everything else in life, it gets easier with practice. Keep at it and you will be a pro in no time.

maybe i'm totally missing what you're asking here...

if you drip and miss the bridge and it hits the "cup" underneath, that WON'T flood your atty. drip wherever you want inside the atty, honestly. if you're flooding it, then you're dripping too much into it, period.

the purpose of the bridge is to wick/move the fluid into the ceramic cup underneath, so whether you drip on the bridge or under it is irrelevant, it all goes to the same place.

but again, if you're flooding, you're adding too much (or too soon). don't freak out about being precise. hold the dropper tip in the atty, add a couple drops. easy as that.

if you're dripping to the atty, DON'T also add to the cart, only do one or the other or you're gonna flood.

Thanks Flitzanu! And to think, I've been meticulously attempting to get the juice directly onto the bridge for the past two weeks... I guess everywhere I've read about it said "on the bridge" so I took it at face value, not wanting to destroy atomizers.

yea, it's not rocket science.. Flying down the road at 60mph, bumps and all I plop TWO drops into the general vicinity of the atty and replace the cart and vape away! I've found more then 3 drops will do a little flooding and I need to burn a few good hits before getting the right vaopr level.
