Where to begin?

I am not a smoker, however my Dad has smoked for numerous years. He had some success with the prescription "cigarette".... but is now deployed in Afghanistan and does not have access to them. I want to get him a kit to get him started, but am not sure of exactly what I need to buy. I also am not sure about how long he has access to a computer for charging purposes. I know the electrical power there is not the same as US. Any suggestions?

The question I have for you is how will you get it to him? What you might want to consider is getting one from a UK vendor and that way it should have the Europian charger. You might have to get him another kit when he returns or at the very least another charger.

I would look at getting a fat battery PV because of the power issue and maybe some XL carto's that can hold 2.5ml of juice so that he's not constantly refilling.

I use their APO address. Did it twice this week by Priority Mail small box $5 at USPS. Doesn't cost any extra shipping. If people are wondering what to do with juice that's not a fit, it might be a consideration. I've only sent juice, not chargers and supplies. There's some good stuff about it in the military section on ECF. They make combat-tested attys and such. Over my head.

Where at in oklahoma do ya live dtmd i ask because i live in Bartlesville area just 20-30 min north of Tulsa and I deal alot with Vapor Kings in Tulsa as well as Sand Springs. Someone said something about a pv with a large battery I have a couple extra Ego Batteries and a usb charger (may not be as large as they ment) but Ill chip in as well for a soldier overseas...

I was in the military and some disposables might be nice, too. It's not like you're going to be by an outlet 24/7.

There are electical adapters that will fit all the AC/DC plugs for Aghan, they have them over there, and start with the eGo or Riva kit at Libertyflights!
