My husband is heading back to Afghanistan. He has a 510 right now but I think I am going to order him an ego before he goes. He and several of the guys there use ecigs but the main problem they are having is charging them. There are situations where they go up to a week with no access to power. Is there some kind of USB charging pack out there that could charge batteries for several days? Any help is much appreciated!

Look up Duracell online. They make 3 sizes of charging packs that have a usb connection. I bought the medium size one hoping it would work on a pass through but it didn't. I'm sure it would charge a smaller 510 battery like a Joye. Probably better to get the largest one for your husband.
Holly, There are several sites who carry PCC charging packs for the 501 - not sure if the eGo has anything like that right now. Having had the desire for longer battery life has had me searching this site and I've found that his best solution may be to get a mod (a modified pv) that runs on standard rechargable batteries that just happen to be much cheaper and easier to replace.
They go by names like Fist Puck, Mr. Puffer, Rio, box mod, Wet box - check people's siggy's and then search/google.

I will check out the Duracell site and see what I find. I thought about getting him one where the batteries last for several days, but he seems to like the ego. We were looking around and found a solar powered charger, which would be exactly what he needs, but I wonder if they work well.
