everything is a step above smok. except the stuff that isnt, and that stuff is generally not long for this world. you seem to have a 25mm dual coil tank. depending on what wattage and how you wrap you could make it work with a 1,2, or 3 battery mod. the question then becomes how much do you want to spend?

If you're using a two battery now, the question is how's the battery life for you. For a 2 battery setup like a Therion is an excellent choice, and there's also the new 166 Paranormal. If you want a longer run time then something like a Triade is more appropriate. There are other 250 DNA board based mods, and you should certainly look at them as one may appeal to you more.

The DNA 250 is a very nice chip. I'd have to say that, out of my Innokin, eLeaf and Smok mods, I do notice a difference in vape quality. Maybe not fresh off the charger but certainly when the batteries reach less than 50%. That being said, I have but can't fully recommend the Therion 166. It's an OK mod with a great chip. The fire button sticks unless you press it just right and it's heavy as hell. Even so, I might buy it again. I'd look around . . . but I'm sold on the DNA 250.

Where to buy a DNA box mod ? Pretty much every Chinese manufacturer sells them.
Where to buy a decent DNA box mod, that is the question. I dipped my toe in the DNA world with an HCigar device and was underwhelmed with the performance - 'ohms too high' & 'weak battery' appear on the screen more frequently than the actual wattage...

I guess first you should decide which board you want, 75, 166, 200, 250, or the new 75C with 3 button menu system. Look for reviews of the boards on Youtube. Let us know that, and we can provide better suggestions. "Where to buy a DNA mod?" is only slightly more narrow of a question than "where to buy any mod?"

Personally I decided on the 75c board and just ordered an HCigar 75D which is a dual battery 75C board. I like the way the new menu system works and don't need more than 75 watts in a device.

Also if looking at the Therion, I would go with the Paranormal instead (better battery compartment that doesn't damage batteries). If you want a similar menu to the 75C but want something cheaper, Lost Vapes started a sister company (Modefined) and they just released the Sirius 200W and the Prism. You might look at those.

Anyway once you decide on the device we can help you find it.

Agreed, deciding on the device first might be helpful, the places you can buy from are endless. If you are willing to wait a bit, buying direct from China like places like Fasttech or 3F or Gearbeast may have the best pricing. If you want something sooner, searching among online places in the country you are may give you the best results.

Best of luck choosing, there's a huge selection.

What about voopoo drag I’ve seen it compared to the dna on some YouTube vids?

As I previously mentioned, if you are looking for a lower cost alternative to the DNA board, Lost Vapes (quality DNA mod maker) just spun off a sister company to make "DNA like" mods. So far they have the Sirius (dual battery) and the Prism (trip battery).

Here is a review of the Sirius (they released a firmware update to allow disabling the autolock feature)

And here is the Prism:

I've had no problems with batteries being damaged when installing them into my Therion. I was patient and ordered from FT. When I get a second one I will do the same. Many DNA devices out there. We all have just named a few. Pros & cons for every mod on the market. Decide the features you want and go from there.
