I have looked around on the forum but I haven't found what I am looking for, I know it has to be on here some where though. I'm considering making my own carto tanks. I have found some clear polycarbonate tubing at 3/4 inch. I am planning on using pipe cutters designed for plastic to cut the tubing to length. The only problem I am having is finding 3/4 grommets for a tank that fit a 510 carto. I have found some at certain vendors but they are a little bit pricey. My plan is to be able to make a bunch of carto tanks that are simple but effective. Does any body have experience doing this to guide me in the right direction? If anybody has ideas or know of better tubing or tools to use, please let me know. Thanks every body, I appreciate any help and ideas coming my way.
I am providing links down below for the pipe cutters and polycarbonate tubing.

The truth is the tank is cheap part, most vendors sell replacement poly tanks for a buck or so and glass tanks are only a few dollars more.

From my experience the ends cost as much as a whole tank kit. Without a lathe making your own ends will be difficult.

The tank ends are typically made from Acetal (Delrin) which can be bought fairly cheap.

That is exactly what I am looking for are cheaper Delrin end caps? Can you provide a link for a good vendor? I have been looking for a vendor to supply some of the Delrin end caps at a reasonable price. Thanks.
